Could not have asked for a better experience! Dan and Kari were not only amazingly kind people to spend our wedding day with, they are truly gifted at what they do. We have never been one who loved standing in front of the camera nor do I have cute, candid, natural looking moments. They were so encouraging at making you feel good in front of the camera which made the photoshoots fly by! They also, to my personal amazement, were able to capture beautiful, candid moments that have helped us relive all the special moments that we were feeling on our wedding day. They have a great eye for placing you in scenery around you. They were so easy to work with and helped us come up with an itinerary for the day, taking into account what the light would be like at certain times and knowing where the direction of where light would be coming from. We got married in during COVID and our plans changed very quickly. Dan and Kari were so flexible working with us to come up with a new creative vision for our wedding and giving me hope in the midst of chaos. Kari did my makeup and carried make up with her all day for touch ups, which was a huge plus! My Husband and I were truly impressed from the moment we met them. Fantastic communication, photos, video and experience! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous Photography
We met Dan and Kari, at a Central Coast Wedding fair and hired them on the spot for our daughter's wedding. We saw an extensive amount of their work and could tell that their sense of light, composition and style was beautiful. Together they have a unique eye and we felt that they would capture not only the visual aspect of the wedding, but more importantly the feeling. There are several photography and video packages to select from and included in their wedding package was an engagement photo shoot. This was a golden opportunity to work together before the big day. It was so enjoyable and the photos reflected how at ease our daughter and her fiancé were. The wedding day involved an itinerary which was upheld in a very timely and professional fashion. With two photographers working, they captured all of the big moments and small details. Never were they obtrusive or in the way, which is not easy and takes talent. We could not be more happy with our choice of photographers and would recommend them highly.
Ballesteros Photography is a favorite here at Portola Inn. This team is enthusiastic and creative. We are always excited to see their finished results.
