Facilities and Capacity
This event space will host up to 200 guests. The romantic, natural setting offers strolls through the gardens and majestic oaks with plenty of natural sunlight. They also have their Carriage House, ideal for live bands, dinner and dancing, with professional dance floor. Couples may choose to have an outdoor wedding in the enchanting Oak Tree Garden.

Built in 1927 for Harry and Minnie Peterson, the first businessman in the town, this home is rich and full of local artist’s work, including Minnie herself who was the first local artist. Now, Peggy and Tom strive to use local craftsmen to maintain their home. Depicting life from various time periods, they feature many historic items, including artifacts form the Colony Holding Company.

I can't put into words how impressed I was with Tom and Peggy. They don't deserve a 5 rating, they deserve a 10 or 20 or whatever. The venue was beautiful. The only way to describe it, is "Tuscany meets Fairy Tale". My son's wedding was June 29, 2019 and it was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been too thanks to Tom and Peggy. We couldn't have pulled it off without them. I was trying to stay ahead of everything and every time I would make a suggestion, she was already on it. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything. She had many of the decorations that we used which saved us a lot of money. She suggested things that we never thought of. She was very patient and very understanding and solved a lot of our problems before we even saw them coming. We reserved the venue and then had to postpone it for a year. Tom and Peggy let us come up many times to view the venue and gave us ideas for decorating. Peggy was always very prompt returning our calls and we had many. We live 2 hours away so this was very helpful. Again, I can't express how wonderful these people are. If you decide this is the venue for you, you won't be disappointed. I know there's lots of things i'm forgetting, just be assured you will not be sorry you chose Portola INNSent on 07/07/2019

We have had several opportunities to visit this venue on small and large occasions and every time we smile and walk away remembering a great experience. Even more fun is how we at The Groves on 41 are often inspired by something the O'Malley's have done and fun to see we can sometimes even inspire them.
