We hired Astami for our engagement shoot. She takes natural and fun photos that come across as laid-back and vibrant at the same time. She recommended that I did not get my hair and makeup done and I'm so glad I listened to her - I looked like myself and not a pageant-ie manufactured version of my image. The engagement photos are a huge hit with us, our family and friends. She is a professional, kind and fun photographer to shoot with. It was so enjoyable to spend time with her and she will pose you, but in a way that is loose with little staging. Astami is a great photographer with a great personality! My husband and I really enjoyed shooting our engagement pictures with her. She makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera and her turn around time for getting the photos back to us was great. I couldn't believe the shots she was able to get. We couldn't have been happier with our pictures and everyone raved about them. She was also very reasonably priced. We will definitely be working with Astami again in the future.

We couldn\'t be happier with the engagement photos taken by Astami. It was the first time we had ever taken professional photos, and we were worried that our pictures would look awkward since we did not know what we were doing. As it turned out, we were stressed out for nothing! Astami posed us perfectly. In fact, she even had actual pictures of the poses on hand so we could have a visual example to copy. It was great!\r\n\r\nIt had been a few years since we moved from NYC, so our winter wardrobe was out of date, and we were unsure of a location with a scenic backdrop (especially since the city is constantly changing). Astami gave us wardrobe suggestions and chose a beautiful location that was meaningful to us.\r\n\r\nThe day of our shoot was quite cold. Although we wanted nice pictures, we really didn\'t want to spend too long out there. Astami was able to capture beautiful moments efficiently. (Our fingers and toes were extremely happy about that.) \r\n \r\nWe put our complete trust in Astami to create beautiful engagement photos for us, and she did not disappoint! We are extremely happy with her work and have already recommended her to many of our friends.

As a photographer from NYC Astami came down to Washington DC to shoot some engagement photos for my fiance and me. Astami did a great job at directing us but was also open suggestions. She is very easy going and very sweet which makes you comfortable to work with her. Our photos came out beautiful and everyone I know loved them. The pictures were very romantic. Astami was truly amazing. She photographed my wedding exactly the way I pictured it. As a person, she definitely made me feel like I had one less thing to worry about.
