I absolutely love the engagement photos that Ariel took of my fiancé and me. She instantly put us at ease and captured such tender and playful moment between us. Picking a favorite photo has been an impossible task.

The shoot itself was also an incredible experience, and a memory that I will forever treasure.

Ariel was such a pleasure to work with from the moment we had our consultation. She was patient and listened to what me and my then-fiance wanted and always made it clear that capturing our day exactly as it was was her number one priority. On the day of the wedding this was further apparent as she captured and managed our friends and family perfectly.

I was a pandemic bride who had to postpone not once or twice, but three times. I was searching for a new wedding photographer and happened upon Ariel’s Instagram account. I just fell in love with her journalistic style and crossed my fingers that she would be available on our new wedding date. Luckily she was! She was extremely responsive and during our initial phone call I appreciated her asking questions and genuinely getting to know me and my fiancé’s love story. We also had a few things in common, like our hair stylist (!).

During our engagement photoshoot, we were so excited to take photos at the dog beach with our pup Cosmo, and I was so happy that Ariel became obsessed with our dog as much as we were. She was extra patient with us and our crazy dog and all the shots turned out so beautiful!

Our wedding day was no different. Ariel’s calming presence was something we needed on this crazy busy day. We spent a lot of time with her but I never felt like we were just at a photoshoot. She was capturing the best moments of the day but also let us enjoy time with our family and friends. She is such a sweet and caring person to be around and work with, I’m just so grateful we crossed paths. We left the day after our wedding to go on our Honeymoon and I was so surprised to find a few sneak peeks of our wedding day already in my inbox. We were on cloud 9 looking at them while up in the air and that was such a special treat! Ariel really goes above and beyond for her clients and she is worth it! If I have any future milestones that need to be captured, Ariel will be the first person I call.

Ariel was absolutely amazing. We are so happy that she was there to capture all the moments of our wedding day. We are both pretty awkward when taking photos, but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and really allowed us to enjoy every minute of that day. Looking back at our wedding photos has been such a gift as we get to relive all of the big and small moments. She is so talented, kind, and an absolute joy to be around. Actually, one of the things we talk about the most when thinking back to our wedding day is how great having Ariel, as our photographer, was! We could not recommend her more!

Ariel is SO sweet and thoughtful as a photographer. She makes you feel comfortable, even if you're not used to taking photos, and helped make the experience so enjoyable and fun. For events, she is also incredibly skilled at capturing the essence of the moment beautifully, while doing it all seamlessly & unnoticeably in the background. I wholeheartedly recommend! It was a blessing to have her be a part of our special moments.

We absolutely loved our photos that captured all our big and small moments for our wedding. Ariel journeyed with us through all the last min changes due to covid and was amazing with her communication and willingness to accommodate. Neither one of us (my husband and I) has ever had professional photos taken before, but she made us feel so comfortable with her level of engagement and encouragement to eliminate any nerves!

I can't say enough about Ariel, she did such a wonderful job on our wedding photos that I don't think we can ever thank her enough. From the moment we met her at a cafe in Bird Rock, we just knew we needed to have her capture our special day. She actively listened to what style we were after, and heard us on our low key, relaxed, and just generally fun requests. Ariel is honest and so incredibly down to earth - she made all of our family and friends at ease, just as much as us. In spite of COVID restrictions and changes, Ariel made the lead-up and our special day total calm, this is how you know that she is a true professional and an expert of her craft. Ariel was a great photographer to work with. She came recommended by a friend who lived in LA at the time. I appreciated the fact that Ariel traveled from San Diego to LA to shoot my engagement photos. We originally planned for a Sunday shoot, but when I realized the weather was going to be bad, Ariel quickly made adjustments in her schedule and was able to change her schedule to accommodate what I wanted. I loved how comfortable she made my fiance and I feel during our shoot. The results were everything I could have imagined and more.
