Aptera Studios is based in San Diego California, with a studio located in the Gaslamp district downtown, and wedding photography is our life!

We photograph with the intention of creating images that capture the moments of a wedding as they spontaneously occur. Many times those moments will happen when least expected. A glance over the shoulder at loved ones, an emotional first look between the bride and groom, and a kiss as the events of the day play out around them. The best photographs are those that capture the natural love, beauty, and joy of the day. Each wedding represents the unique desires of the couples that we are photographing, and deserves photographs that are exclusively about them, their day, and their love. Investing as much time as possible bonding with our couples beforehand helps to insure that when their wedding day arrives, we are able to comfortably travel the day together…relaxed, happy, and ready for whatever wonderful events the day may bring. In years to come these images will tell the story of their wedding day in a way that words could never describe. We are honored to be invited into the lives of the amazing couples we photograph, and the excitement we receive from couples after presenting them with their images is priceless.
