Sokha and her team were incredible.

We hired Apsara Events as 2-month coordinators, so they handled all coordination with our venue and vendors leading up to our wedding, as well as smaller details such as the seating chart, signs, programs, etc. She was also extremely knowledgeable about venues and vendors in Florida and helped us finalize our list and communicate with them when we had questions or needed to get certain tasks done. Having this help leading up to the wedding was extremely helpful, and I’d highly recommend it.

On the day of the wedding, I felt totally calm knowing that Sokha and her team were handling coordination with the venue and vendors and otherwise making sure everything would run smoothly. It allowed me to focus on just enjoying the wedding.

Sokha is extremely detail oriented and knows everyone in the wedding industry in FL, which was very helpful whenever we ran into any issues and had to navigate challenges.

Sokha and her team were absolutely on fire throughout our wedding weekend! They organized every detail with each vendor, and ensured that not a single thing was missed. They even made sure to keep my husband and me hydrated and well fed (with hot food and cool cocktails)! It was clear that they are experts in their field. They kept me calm and dealt with any road blocks with skill and ease. Sokha and her husband (Monty, of Latelier Lumier) came through at the last minute in helping to craft the perfect custom wedding logo for us!

The team at Apsara Events were our planners (+ day of coordinators) for our December 2018 wedding in Clearwater Beach, Florida. We were referred to Sokha through our venue, the Hilton Clearwater Beach, and we could not be happier with our decision. She was with us every step of the way and helped us plan the perfect Indian beach wedding from over 1,000 miles away! Sokha provided options that fit in our budget, joined us at all of our vendor meetings, and reviewed our contracts. Along the way, we realized that Sokha has the perfect personality for a planner - she is goal orientated, but also knows how to make her couples feel comfortable (and have some fun!) throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, my close friends commented that I was the calmest they had ever seen - and I owe it all to Sokha and her team for taking care of every detail and letting me enjoy my big day!

Talk about amazing! I am so pleased & impressed by this incredible team of planners. Sokha did an absolutely amazing job planning my wedding and getting every detail just perfect. She is incredibly organized and efficient in wedding planning that helped to save us alot of time. Her staff helped us to customize our one of a kind wedding making it extremely personalized and helped us manage our space at the Tropicana Field which a huge venue. Apsara recommended vendors from the Decor, Cake, Linens and Beauty vendors. They even went above and beyond and helped to coordinate our "Welcome Party" for guests. They entire night was a huge success and wouldn't have been possible without this incredible team of visionaries & hard-workers. Apsara Events is extremely talented in planning and I highly recommend them to work with any bride! Everyone is still raving about how epic our wedding was to this day!

Sadly we ended up terminating our contract with Apsara events early. We signed an agreement for full service planning for our wedding in May 2025. The communication, planning, and process followed post contract signing fell wildly below any reasonable expectations. Some examples.
- 4 months into the contract we had yet to have a basic task list to follow for all activities after repeated asks and multiple verbal commitments that it would be sent and maintained.
- We wouldn't hear back for multiple weeks at a time for simple requests or questions. We tried to establish some communication expectations when this first happened but still across email, phone, text we wouldn't hear back for weeks at a time. Most recently we hadn't heard from her in nearly a month.
- Majority of all vendor outreach had to be completed by us and barely any recommendations were shared in any reasonable timeframe. We had to prod multiple times to get the basics. There was no process here at all or project management from Apsara. At time of termination. we had yet to receive recommendations for key vendors and still handled over 90% of all vendor communications.
- Every (yes, every) deadline or expectation that was set either via phone, text, or email was missed. This was usually without providing any heads up.

We were very hopeful and excited to work with Sokha and the team but our experience left us more stressed and behind schedule. I don't believe the team has a lot of support presently and is taking on more work than they can possibly support effectively. It is not appropriate or just to do so when someone has the responsibility to help a couple on such an important part of their journey. I am happy to discuss with anyone to share our experiences here if helpful to avoid what we went through.
