ANGELIC AFFAIRS is an eco-friendly Wedding | Event Planning & Floral Design company created with the basic principal of designing around our clients. We take the time to get to know you, your history, and work with you to create a customized event that reflects who you are -- no matter how weird, traditional, thematic, or upscale you're envisioning your event to be. We are LGBTQ friendly and believe that love has no boundaries.
With weddings, our goal has always been to unify and showcase both partners as the individuals they are, as well as the unified couple they've become by celebrating their union in marriage in a way that's unique to them and their story. In doing so, not only are we creating another beautiful wedding, but we're creating an experience in which invited guests will remember YOUR wedding rather than just "so & so's" wedding.
Most of our couples opt for a mix of both and interesting fusions of themes, and even interfaith ceremonies. ANGELIC AFFAIRS is familiar with the ins-and-outs of traditional wedding etiquette, but we never hold our couples to set rules. Your day should be as you desire it to be. When other Wedding Planners say, "No it can't be done." or "That'll cost extra.", ANGELIC AFFAIRS says, "Why not? We'll work with your budget to help you create what you're envisioning."

Kelly, the Owner, Wedding & Event Planner and Floral Designer of ANGELIC AFFAIRS, is bi-coastally in Los Angeles, CA and Newport, RI, while spending a majority of her time in Rhode Island. Kelly is also a Destination Wedding Planner with extensive research and travel skills in planning national and international weddings and events.
Kelly's proudest destination wedding achievement (what she calls, "Remote Wedding Planning") was planning a Mormon wedding in Houston, TX for a couple in Bakersfield, CA from Newport, RI. Kelly researched vendors and venues, reviewed contracts for the couple, created design boards and timelines with checklists and itineraries, and checked in with the couple and their hired vendors the day of. Their wedding was a success, and Kelly never had to travel to Texas for the wedding, which worked out great for the couples' limited budget.
Kelly is also LGBTQ-friendly, planning gay weddings and events as well. And is now Rainbow Wedding Network's go-to guru / expert in the wedding industry for published articles. Kelly's work has been featured in Offbeat Bride, Rock 'N Roll Bride, Florist Review, A Practical Wedding, and Rainbow Wedding Network.

Kelly came up with a unique booking process that enables her to take a couples' history and recreate THEIR story into their wedding day. She emails potential clients a Detailed Online Questionnaire which asks questions about every aspect of their wedding -- the story of how they met, when they fell in love, their proposal story, their likes as individuals, as well as their likes as a couple. She then takes all of that and creates two things: (1) Design Inspiration Board showing that she sees their vision for their big day with added personal touches of their story and (2) Budget Analysis, which includes her rate, to show that she can create their vision while remaining within their budget. Within 24 hours of receiving the completed questionnaire, she meets with the couple for a complimentary consultation at the venue, their home, her home, via Skype or phone/email to discuss their big day as well as booking."
