Amphora was recommended to us by a previous couple so we bought a cake sample platter which was a fun and convenient way to sample a variety of flavor options. There were also lots of cake style designs, so we booked with Amphora. Elicia made the process super easy and was flexible when it came to changing our size, etc. The team delivered and set up the cake without a hitch and it looked gorgeous. The cake tasted amazing and we got lots of compliments on it! We didnt even wait to eat our anniversary layer because it was so good :p

Elicia did a fabulous job on our wedding cake and I highly recommend using her for your special day. She was so easy to work with, she customized our cake exactly how we wanted it, and it tasted sooo good! I highly recommend you hire her for your wedding!

We were very pleased with Amphora - from initial conversations, to tastings, to prep meeting to the event - everything ran perfectly smooth and the food was really delicious! Our guests even commented how good the food was. This review would not be complete without acknowledging Xóchitl. I saw her name in other Amphora reviews but thought - yeah, yeah, whatever, I’m sure she’s not that good. Now I see why. She’s not just a well-organized caterer, she’s patient, responsive, accommodating, thorough and calm - throughout the whole process. Everything went perfectly the day of!

Amphora Bakery did a fantastic job on our wedding cake! We selected one of their preferred designs and modified it slightly to reflect the wedding cake my 8 year old daughter designed. They did a fantastic job! The red velvet cake with cream cheese icing was decadent and not too sweet. We and our guests truly enjoyed it. I will be returning to Amphora for many special occasions in the future.

The cake was BEYOND beautiful. And HOW did Amphora manage to find cake plates for us that were a perfect match?!?! Their attention to detail was just phenomenal. I refuse to believe they weren’t secretly communicating with our florist Wander and Whimsy because the color coordination was just out of this world!!! Some of my ideas were out of my budget, but they worked with me to find the perfect cake stand, which achieved the 3 tier cake look I wanted, but with the two tiers that were in budget. They were in constant communication with me and gave their honest advice. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted delicious.

I selected Amphora Bakery to make our wedding cake because I'm a past customer! I ordered a birthday cake from them years ago for my husband and was so impressed how delicious the cake was. Elicia has been so wonderful in working with my husband and I the past few years. We booked this bakery back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding and they've been extremely patient with us each time we've had to reschedule - thanks to the pandemic. It was a rough time with wedding planning, but Elicia was very supportive, responsive, and easy to work with. After many reschedules, our guest count reduced more and more and she allowed us to reduce our cake size and servings. I was shocked when she offered to make changes because I wanted to ask months ago, but was afraid it was too late! My husband and I were so thankful how understanding Elicia and the Amphora Bakery team were. The cake was beautiful, exactly what I had wanted in design, and the salted caramel flavor was delicious! We recommend this bakery to any other couple. If you need catering also, they can handle that for you too. We also booked them for both the wedding cake and catering!

Every cake flavor we tried from Amphora was delicious! Elicia was very easy to work with and listened to our ideas. When we had to severely reduce our guest count due to COVID after ordering our cake, they helped us with to-go boxes so we could take cake slices to the local guests who couldn’t come to the reception. Our cake was so beautiful and tasted incredible!

We didn’t even look at another bakery for our wedding cake because we love Amphora, and that was the right call! We got a small cake to cut and a large sheet cake with the vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and forest berry preserves, topped with blue sugar hydrangea petals. It was a hit! We loved it and got so many compliments from our guests! We highly recommend.

Amphora Bakery was so amazing to work with. Elicia and her team did an amazing job taking our ideas about what we wanted the cake to look like and turned it into a beautiful masterpiece. From the start, she was so nice and was able to work around our schedule and even kept in contact throughout COVID-19 to give us updates on what was going on. They delivered our cake to the venue in prestine condition and set it in place on where we wanted it. We had a three tier cake for about 70 guests. We had one layer vanilla cake with Amaretto buttercream, vanilla cake with forest berry preserves, and chocolate with chocolate buttercream. Each layer was delicious, moist, and just melted in your mouth. We even had one guest who tried the cake and wanted to order one for her daughters birthday. Everyone loved it! We felt very confident in their hands and we are so happy that we chose Amphora Bakery to do our wedding cake!
