I reached out to various photographers and Amma was the first photographer I heard back from, which really set the bar high for my other vendor selections (in regards to customer service). Not only is Amma professional, kind, and highly talented, she kept everyone calm on wedding day and made us feel extremely comfortable! Even on wedding day when we were running a bit behind, she was as cool as a cucumber. Her skills were also recognized by our venue, that now wants to add her as a preferred vendor (which she deserves). We hired Amma when we first started wedding planning in June 2019. Since then we postponed our wedding from September 2020 to September 2021, have done TWO engagement shoots (we did one on our original wedding date) and then of course our wedding day. I didn't think my dream engagement on the beach could get any better... until Amma did her thing!! It was clear from the moment she approached us (seconds after our engagement) that this was someone I could be comfortable with and share in my sheer joy and surprise. Amma was beyond a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be happier with our photos! She was so flexible when our original plans changed due to COVID, and continued to be through multiple reschedules. Amma, makes any setting not only look incredible but is friendly, personable and easy to work with. One of the key aspects of a photogrpaher is not only to take the photo but to direct and place the subjects to their best angles, lighting and settings, Amma did an incredible job, she sets a incredible mood and produces glamours, sophisticated photos. My wife and I had the most incredible experience with Amma from day 1! A year prior to our wedding, we had a phone call with her to see if she would be a perfect match for us. Turns out, it was. She was so energetic and excited from the beginning. My wife and I connected immediately in terms of the ideas they both had and the timeline of the wedding. With Amma, you're practically getting a wedding coordinator as well. She was so fantastic on the timing of all the sessions we had to do the day of the wedding. She brought another photographer (Lior) who was incredible as well. We had such fun with her. She constantly made sure we were laughing and having a good time. We did our engagement photoshoot with her as well. That was just a taste of what we knew we would get for the day of our wedding. The photos all came out brilliant. Amma is a rockstar! She is organized, experienced, responsive, and talented. Amma photographed our wedding in Mystic, CT this past September, and we cannot be happier with our pictures. Her use of natural light made our photos look crisp and luminous without appearing overly filtered, and she had the perfect way of coaxing us into poses that were not stiff or awkward. A quick look at Amma's instagram account makes it clear that she is an amazing wedding photographer. What I cannot stress enough is how great she was in all other respects. Leading up to the wedding, she was prompt in responding to all of our questions and providing input on the venue. On the day of, she was extremely organized and helped us stay on schedule - this was no easy feat considering we had 20 people in our wedding party. She was also extremely familiar with Mystic and our venue, and helped select backdrops that were unique and visually stunning. After the wedding, we received our photos on time and were extremely satisfied. Needless to say, from start to finish, working with Amma was a great experience.

In my opinion, your wedding photographer is one of your most important vendors of the day. So it's crucial you find the best one (that's also not going to drain your budget). We couldn't have wished for a better photographer than Amma! She is so sweet, funny, and great to work with. We had a few phone calls before the big day to get to know each other and to let Amma know our vision for the day. She was so thorough in nailing down the schedule with us and gave us a worksheet so she knew exactly what family photos we needed and backgrounds within our venue we wanted to be in front of. My husband and I can get pretty embarrassed when in front of a camera but Amma (and her second shooter Olivia) put us both at ease and made the whole experience fun and full of love. She even made sure she put in the schedule when sunset was so we could take awesome sunset pictures! She shot amazing detail pictures, candids, portraits and more. Amma was truly a joy to work with and the pictures speak for themselves.
