Experience

Gregg Hollmann founded Ambient DJs in 1999 and is one of the wedding DJ entertainers available for your celebration. Recognized for his creativity and his genre-spanning performance styles, Gregg lives and breathes music. He is joined by industry veterans Mike Bacon (DJ Iron Mike) and Christopher Smith (DJ Spinz) plus a deep roster of specialists including bi-lingual English/Spanish DJs.

High Energy - Wouldn't Change A Thing

Gregg was awesome at our wedding at the Nassau Inn in Princeton, was great to work with leading up to it, and is much more reasonably priced compared to larger companies. He listened to and executed my many non-standard requests and made suggestions on timings when he thought the schedule could be optimized without being pushy.

Our dance floor was lit, and he did a perfect job at reading the crowd. The songs he played that we didn't select on our playlist fit in perfectly throughout the night.

The night started with a lot of classic rock and dancey pop, then we did karaoke for 6 songs (which went really well and people got to rest), and then came back with an awesome hip hop/party song (lil jon, kesha, pitbull, etc.) session as the olds were getting tired and filtered out.

Lastly the setup looked great. His lighting setup took any stuffiness out of the room.

If we were to do it again, we wouldn't have done anything differently.

The best !

Mike was a pleasure working with ! He was always super nice , easy to talk to and very helpful! We got so many compliments on our music , he played all the things we requested but played crowd pleasers we didn’t think of !

Couldn't Get Us Off the Dance Floor!

We had the best experience working with Gregg! He was so professional and thorough in our first call. He made sure to cover topics we hadn't even thought about for our wedding. He covered the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and everything was perfect! The dancefloor was packed the entire night, and he seamlessly blended American, Australian, and Spanish classics at our reception, which everyone LOVED! I can't recommend Gregg enough! He truly made our event perfect and created a great vibe!

Best dj ever!

He was the greatest dj! I did not stop dancing at my wedding. Everyone had the best time. If I stepped away for a moment the next song would come on and I’d be right back dancing the night away!!! The music was one of the most important things for my big day and he beyond crushed it!! So many compliments!! Dj iron Mike is my dj for LIFE!!!

Going into our wedding planning, entertainment was one of our top 3 priorities, and Ambient DJ did not disappoint! We got the musician fusion package, and had Gregg on the DJ with Joe Grillo on the saxophone, and they were one of the best parts of our wedding!! I got so many compliments on what a great job they did and how the wedding felt like such a fun party. Gregg was great at reading the room and keeping everyone on the dance floor, and Joe's talent had everyone talking about how elevated the experience was. He also performed on the saxophone during our ceremony and made it so elegant, beautiful, and unforgettable. The prices are extremely reasonable and I got way more than my money's worth. Gregg is organized, efficient, and everything you would want for someone on your vendor team to make sure your day runs beautifully.

Nassau Inn Wedding

We had DJ Iron Mike for our wedding at the Nassau Inn in Princeton and it was incredible. We had so people say this was the best dance floor they've ever experienced at a wedding. Mike is professional, fun to work with, and a DJ genius!

Best wedding service!

I heard about Ambient and DJ Iron Mike through a client and knew I had to check them out. As a musician, my number one priority was the music. I didn’t want too much cliche wedding stuff, but I did want a full dance floor. From the start, everything was 100% customizable and Mike/Ambient were extremely reliable and attentive to detail. I made a Spotify playlist by choice, but there was also an online planner available for our use if we preferred. It allowed us to zero in on every detail, including the MC style/delivery, not just the songs themselves. We had a lengthy phone call prior to the event as well as Mike being available via text. During the event, he approached me several times to confirm the Order of events and get the party going. We were married July 12 of 2025 and I still have friends/family telling me how perfect the music was; we had a full dance floor all the way through the last song! It was perfect.

Dream Wedding DJ

DJ Iron Mike was the perfect DJ for our wedding reception and after party. He kept the dance floor popping all night! He’s incredible at reading the crowd and knowing what will keep the energy going. He was very open to feedback from the bride and groom both before and during the wedding. Our guests could not stop raving about him the next day.

Ambient djs are exceptional!

We cannot say enough good things about DJ Iron Mike and Ambient DJs. I was so surprised that they weren’t recommended more in the NJ bridal groups because their service was EXCEPTIONAL! We had a major storm blow through our ceremony and DJ Iron Mike adapted everything on the spot to ensure that we were able to finish the ceremony. He had the perfect mix of music and our guests danced the entire time, which is what we wanted! He was so easy to communicate with, patient, and provided great guidance during our entire planning process! He arrived to the venue early and had everything set and ready to go, and as the bride, I wasn’t worried at all! I seriously cannot recommend them more!! 10/10 and more!!
