Oh, Shelley. Shelley officiated our wedding in October of 2025. My wife and I were still looking for an officiant just a few short months before our wedding was about to take place. We were already exhausted from all of the planning and were trying our best to find the right person to stand in front of both of our large families and make us official. We are so glad we found Shelley, and some things just feel as though they were meant to be. If there is one way I can describe Shelley, it’s that she LOVES what she does. She is thoughtful, passionate, and enthusiastic about every challenge that comes with getting married and planning your big day. She did such an amazing job during our ceremony, that many guests came up to us after the fact to compliment just how special she made it for all of us. Shelley was prompt, calm, and gave us a sense of safety during our crazy and perfect day. She communicated with everyone at our wedding as though she was part of our family. She included a keepsake with her ceremony package with sea shells that my wife and I placed in sand around a candle during the ceremony. The memories we have from these moments will last forever. Also, she rescues animals - what’s not to love about that?? If you are still looking for someone to make your big day meaningful and memorable, look no further! THANK YOU SHELLEY!

Kelly was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was incredibly organized, professional, and we felt she told our story so well. We loved our ceremony, and there were so many people who complimented us on how well she did. She helped coordinate all the things for the cemerony including our wedding party, family, band, and everything in between. I was very at ease that I knew she had everything covered! The filing process was also seamless and she is very knowledgeable about next steps after you tie the knot. I highly recommend Kelly to anyone getting married in the northern Michigan area and beyond!

She was so wonderful to work with and was very organized. Before the wedding she video chatted with us to go over the details for the ceremony. She was on time and was very patient even though I was late for the ceremony. We offered her to stay after the ceremony and she was so kind enough to do prayer before dinner which we did not plan! I would highly recommend Ms. Shanda for anyone getting married in the Grand Rapids area, you won’t regret it!

Weddings Your Way came highly recommended by our venue, Timberlee Hills, and absolutely did an amazing job. We were so lucky to have Wendy as our officiant for our wedding. She created a beautiful ceremony for us and handled our special day with such love and care. Wendy was highly communicative and professional as well throughout the entire process. 10/10!!!

Adam is great, and we could not recommend him more! From the first time we met with him, he made us feel comfortable and was always open to what we wanted for our wedding. The messages that Adam gave at our ceremony were heartfelt and beautiful. We appreciated that he personalized our ceremony to us and our relationship. He is very professional, kind, and quick to respond. We have no regrets at all and recommend him to everyone! Thank you again Adam!

Jonathan was great! We were from out of town and he made everything so easy….from getting our marriage license to the small details on our wedding day. He made our ceremony very enjoyable!

Rev. Jon was so flexible and patient. We had to change our plans due to COVID-19 and he was so accommodating and drove farther to make it to our event. We didn't have an exact time to start the ceremony either because of the change in plans and Jon was so patient which was greatly appreciated. He also showed us the wedding script before the wedding and mailed in our marriage license. We would definitely recommend him!
