Amanda was absolutely amazing! Talented does not even begin to describe Amanda. Amanda makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, even my husband who hates taking pictures! Originally, we had to cancel our engagement photo session due to a family emergency and Amanda was not only understanding but never even blinked an eye at the situation, she quickly rescheduled our photo session without a problem! Which leads us to the wedding day were Amanda was beyond amazing! She saved the day so many times from coming in clutch with a crochet hook to help with the buttons on my dress, to actually sewing one of my bridesmaids dresses, to helping bustle my dress to calling her husband to look at his advanced radar to help make the decision if we needed to move our ceremony indoors. She went above and beyond! My husband, who as I mentioned, is not a fan of pictures actually said he had fun and that Amanda was responsible for that! She had such original ideas for pictures that the groomsmen really enjoyed. Amanda was on top of it all day, she made everything run smoothly, made sure I got all the pictures I wanted. She made family pictures with a large rowdy bunch such a breeze with her take charge attitude without being too bossy! And most important, her talent as a photographer is incredible.

We did two photoshoots with Amanda before our wedding, and both were a blast - and the photos were exactly like the vision I had for the shoot. She helped us build our timeline, herded our entire wedding party around all day, and seemed to have just as much fun at our wedding as we did! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda! From the beginning she was very responsive and friendly. We felt so comfortable with her taking our photos even as two people that do not often have their photo taken. Amanda has a great portfolio that she sent to highlight different areas of her work, really giving you a great feel for her style of photography. She was also very responsive to emails & texts when we were first working with her for contracts and picking out a date for our engagement pictures which made finding and booking a photographer very stress free (even though we knew we wanted her from the start). My husband and I are not picture people and don’t easily feel comfortable in front of the camera, but Amanda instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and it really shines in the photos she created. On our wedding day, she felt more like a friend and guest rather than a vendor because of how she takes the time to get to know & interact with you prior to your day. She made the time my husband and I spent together on our day feel intimate like there was no one else there, even though she was there were her camera capturing everything. Finally, she whipped up our sneak peaks so fast and we were able to look through them on our honeymoon. We are already in love with what we’ve seen so far. She also does newborn pictures and we can’t wait to work with her again when we start a family.
