Alicia and Rachel were ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! We had Alicia for our rehearsal dinner and wedding and Rachel for our wedding in August. Not only were our photos stunning and the emotions of the day were captured perfectly, they were both incredibly fun to work with! Alicia was also very thorough making sure that she got all of the right shots for our family photos with various combinations of family members. My husband's sister has special needs and Alicia and Rachel were incredibly patient with her and made sure we got great photos with her without overwhelming her. Alicia and Rachel's ideas for fun shots with our bridal party turned out incredible and the personalities of everyone really shined through. I used Alicia King Photography for my engagement photos and wedding and will continue to go back to her! I saw her stunning photos from my friend's wedding and was so grateful we could work with her as well. While Alicia and her partner Rachel and incredible artists, they are also phenomenal humans. You spend SO much time with your photographers on your wedding day, and Alicia made it like spending time with a trusted friend. I appreciated how comfortable in front of the camera she made me and my husband feel, and had a way of prompting us that felt so natural when we are NOT photo people. Can't say enough good things. Adore this vendor.

Alicia and Rachel are wonderful, and we highly recommend them, so if you need a one line review, that would be the nutshell. However, if you’d like more detail: we booked Alicia and Rachel for our wedding; we had based that initially off that we would have two shooters (a key item we were looking for), and their online portfolios looked promising in terms of what we were looking for both visually and for what we valued. Before booking (well in advance) we were also able to have a phone call with Alicia where we discussed details, the vibe of our event, and more initial information on what we were looking for, which gave us confidence. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet them both at an open house they hosted at their studio earlier in the year before our wedding in the fall. When it came to our wedding, we were given an extensive questionnaire regarding things including, but not limited to: items we both felt were important and valued, what we wanted our day to be about, important people to focus on, vital photos to obtain, and many other small, thoughtful details. Alicia was also very communicative in advance of the wedding in regards to plans, recommendations, and open to more communication if it was needed.

When it came to the day of the wedding, they were both skillful and efficient, as well as empathetic to the complications inherent in a wedding day. Looking back at our photos (of which there are many, and they are excellent), we both have said at multiple points that we don’t even remember them taking photos of certain small moments (but they did), and that there are a number of photos that highlight them keeping in mind the details we discussed with them both months in advance and during the day of (which we very much appreciate).

Photography was the most important vendor choice we made for our wedding, and we researched and vetted photographers extensively. We selected Alicia and Rachel for our engagement and wedding photos and are beyond thrilled. The photos are exactly the right look/tone/feel and capture the day and its joy in a stunning and beautiful manner. We had extremely high expectations and this team met and exceeded them! Additionally, their work in posing us during the engagement shoot, prep in advance of the wedding, and seamless and appropriately efficient way they took photos during the wedding really added to our day. We would highly recommend Alicia and Rachel and will look forward to working with them again for future photo needs. Thank you, Alicia and Rachel!

Alicia and Rachel were truly a pleasure to work with! We knew from the first time we spoke to Alicia just how wonderful she was and we quickly hired her for our wedding. She arrived perfectly on time with such great energy! She got all the pictures we wanted, provided clear instructions and prompts to us and everyone in the pictures, she was constantly checking in with us, and did everything in a timely manner. She cares so much for the people she works with and it comes across in her work. She continues to provide excellent communication after our wedding and is getting our pictures back to us! The final pictures are better than I could ever have imagined. I hope I get to have another photo shoot with her!

We have known Alicia since she was a young girl. When she went in to photography and we saw her pictures, we knew that she was the one we wanted for my daughter's wedding. Alicia and Rachel were professional and thorough. They are extremely on top of things, taking pictures we did not even think to do. Alicia was all over the place taking pictures through the entire evening. She arrived on time at noon and stayed until 10pm. I would not hesitate to hire her and Rachel again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Alicia. She was thoughtful, efficient, funny, and made sure I felt comfortable for the entire day and night if my wedding. I hate taking pictures and Alicia totally took my mood into account and made sure I got the pictures I wanted, but also didn't force me into taking too many. If your in to taking more photo's she wants to!!! But I so appreciated that she took my mood into account and didn't force me to. Can't say enough about her and R. Hire! Hire!. Sneak peak was amazing and can't wait to see the rest!!!!

Alicia and Rachel were amazing! Both our engagement photos and wedding photos came out beautifully and it’s not just because they are talented and clearly have an eye for great photography and capturing moments. Alicia helped to make us feel confident and made sure we had fun the entire time we were in front of the camera.

Planning a wedding and being a bride is something I’ve never done before, so having a pro like Alicia around was helpful in more ways than just have amazing and beautiful photos afterwards. She even helped to secure my veil in place and reminded me that I needed to call the florist to get my flowers before the ceremony!
