We have known Alicia since she was a young girl. When she went in to photography and we saw her pictures, we knew that she was the one we wanted for my daughter's wedding. Alicia and Rachel were professional and thorough. They are extremely on top of things, taking pictures we did not even think to do. Alicia was all over the place taking pictures through the entire evening. She arrived on time at noon and stayed until 10pm. I would not hesitate to hire her and Rachel again. -

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Alicia. She was thoughtful, efficient, funny, and made sure I felt comfortable for the entire day and night if my wedding. Her support made me feel like I have known her for years! She is way more than a photographer. She is a support system and cheerleader on your wedding day. Alicia and Rachel were amazing! Both our engagement photos and wedding photos came out beautifully and it’s not just because they are talented and clearly have an eye for great photography and capturing moments. Alicia helped to make us feel confident and made sure we had fun the entire time we were in front of the camera.
Planning a wedding and being a bride is something I’ve never done before, so having a pro like Alicia around was helpful in more ways than just have amazing and beautiful photos afterwards. She even helped to secure my veil in place and reminded me that I needed to call the florist to get my flowers before the ceremony!
12/10. Can’t wait to hire them for photos in the future! -

Alicia shot our small COVID wedding in October and she was absolutely amazing. She made everything so easy and stress-free. She was wonderful at directing everyone so we ran on time and were able to get all the pictures we wanted. Her photos are stunning, and I'm so glad we found her to shoot our special day! -

Everything was perfect!
Alicia and her assistant Rachel were absolutely INCREDIBLE on our wedding day!! We also did an engagement shoot with Alicia in Brooklyn and the photos were wonderful. On the day of our wedding, Alicia and Rachel were prompt, professional, and a calm and balanced energy amongst the chaos of the day. They were friendly, warm, and personable, and all our family members talked about how easy they were to work with. We had to “hide” from our early-arriving guests to do all of our family photos and Alicia was very creative in finding beautiful places to shoot and gave us rides in her own car in between locations so that our dresses wouldn’t get dirty (we had an outdoor wedding at a vineyard). All throughout the night, they were inconspicuously in the background taking pictures of all the candid moments. We have only received our “sneak peak” so far but the photos are AMAZING. We could not recommend Alicia King more!! -

Couldn't have asked for a better photographer!
From start to finish, it was wonderful working with Alicia. She was easy to contact and answered all my questions leading up to the day so I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of. Throughout the night she made sure to get every picture that I had asked for and they came out beautifully. We love looking back out our pictures to relive our wedding. -

I would recommend Alicia King Photography to absolutely anyone planning a wedding.
Originally we were planning on not having a photographer in an attempt to save a little money. However, after speaking with several friends, we realized that if you're going to spend money anywhere, a good photographer is probably one of the best things to invest in.
Alicia was wonderful to work with; her online form made it easy to plan out our shots for the big day!
Our photographers on the day, Rachel and Brittany, were absolutely out of this world. They were a joy to have around during the wedding and incredibly easy to work with.
Even while we were a little late getting ready, they used the time to take pictures of our of our little extras (favors, dress, gifts, notes, etc.) Then Rachel captured my getting ready shots while Brittany took pictures of my partner.
Rachel has an incredible eye and is wonderful about giving just enough direction to ensure that she can capture a perfect shot. She's creative, efficient, and wonderfully friendly; she was a joy to have as part of our day. Especially as someone who can get a little self-conscious during photos, I was so happy to have someone like Rachel there to help me to feel so comfortable. My partner said the same thing about Brittany who took the getting ready shots for him. They struck an excellent balance of catering to us while still being efficient and making sure all the shots were done. They were perfect.
Even through the rain, Rachel and Brittany were able to capture all the shots of our friends and family on the list in record time! Rachel balanced my shawl, veil, and held my vows for me while capturing shots. At one point she even braved a very precarious rock ledge to get the perfect photo! At the reception, they made sure to get a shot of my partner's Grandma, captured our sparkler photo outside, and stayed a little later than planned to catch a couple dancing photos.
We can't wait to see all the beautiful shots from our wedding and we couldn't be more grateful to Rachel and Brittany for being there to capture the day! -

The most beautiful photos!
Alicia was beyond amazing to work with. When starting to plan my wedding, the photographer was my number one vendor to focus on. I knew that pictures from my wedding day would be so important and wanted to ensure that we would have great photos to look back on. From our first conversation, Alicia put my husband and me at ease. She had great experience and even shared an album she recently shot at our venue which was so helpful in our decision-making process.
On our wedding day, Alicia was professional, efficient, and a champ for being there while 8 months pregnant. She made us feel so comfortable and also made sure we stayed on schedule. Alicia and her team made sure we got all the photos we wanted and then some. We got our sneak peek very quickly and are in love with how our photos came out. Alicia is so very talented and offers a great value. I would highly recommend her! We will cherish her beautiful photos for years to come. Thank you, Alicia, Tara, and Rachel!!! -

When your wedding is over, all you have are the memories, unless you have a kickass photographer- which Alicia DEFINITELY was. She was always available to talk through ideas, whether is was about the engagement shoot, or shot ideas, or props- she always had my back. She was so easy to work with, and made sure that my husband and I were always happy and comfortable while she was photographing us. While we were looking at different photographers, Alicia had sent us samples of other weddings she had done so we could get a better idea for her style, and she even sent along pictures of another couple she photographed at our venue, which I think sealed the deal. To anyone who needs a photographer in the tri-state area, Alicia King Photography is it, she was worth EVERY PENNY. Love you, Alicia!! -

Laura Sent on 01/20/2018This review is long overdue! We absolutely loved working with Alicia and Rachel and are blown away by our gorgeous photos. Alicia came with glowing recommendations from one of my best friends and right off the bat at our engagement shoot in Central Park, she made us feel comfortable and excited. Every photo was just beautiful. Alicia and Rachel traveled all the way to Ithaca, New York in the finger lakes for our wedding weekend and we are so grateful to them for making the trip. Alicia calmed my nerves when I was panicking about the rain on our wedding day and even sacrificed herself in a near downpour to get some amazing shots of me and my bridesmaids. My husband said Rachel was great with him and the guys when they were getting ready. The sun started shining right as our ceremony began, and our photos are so special and stunning. Will cherish them always. Thank you so much, Alicia & Rachel!

The quality of her work is outstanding. We haven't gotten our wedding photos back yet (it's only been three weeks) but our engagement photos and the sneak peek of our wedding photos were better than we could have ever imagined, so we're sure the wedding photos will be just as good! Nikki Sent on 06/15/2017I could write a novel about our experience with the incredibly talented Alicia! But I'll try to get to the point.
I think it's safe to say that we've had the pleasure of working with Alicia longer than most couples engage with their photographer: First she snuck around to photograph the surprise proposal and the entire day that followed, then our engagement party, followed by the actual engagement shoot, after which point it only made sense that she also accompanied us to the Court to capture the moment of our paper-official marriage...and then, of course, the inevitable Wedding itself!
Needless to say, we immediately clicked with Alicia and have trusted her to capture every. single. milestone. leading up to our Big Day!
This wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for Alicia's tremendous talent, her quick-thinking and wit, her friendliness, sense of humor, and calming nature. At this point, Alicia has been part of our lives for over 2 years, and Garland and I both truly feel that we've gained a friend rather than just a go-to photographer. We've already invented reasons to be marked in her calendar for upcoming events—we'd miss her too much!
But in all seriousness, if you're looking for a photgrapher with the support, know-how, and pure desire to deliver the best quality photos, Alicia is your gal. We're not models by any means and constantly joked that we didn't know what to do with our hands. Alicia knows what you should do with your hands. She will quite literally get down and dirty, climb through trees, trudge through creeks—you name it—just to nail the shot. She's flexible, dedicated, and her energy is delightfuly contagious. Her vision and creativity is unparalleled, and she's organized at the same time—the perfect blend of left-brain/right-brain. I wouldn't trust my life moments to be captured by anyone else now that she's a part of our lives! Look no further!

Alicia did our engagement shoot and our wedding and from what I have seen of the wedding pictures the day of - they are amazing! Not only is Alicia a professional photographer with a great eye for beautiful shots, she is a terrific person to have around when you are stressed! When we met she even had an album that was from a wedding at our venue which was so nice to see! We also had engagement photos done which were included in our extremely affordable package! She was so flexible in scheduling and made us feel right at ease. Not to mention the photos came out awesome! On our wedding day Alicia and Rachel arrived and got right to work. They were never in our faces but I was confident she was getting all the shots I would want. Alicia also worked well with our videographer. Alicia was my go-to person all day for so many things wedding related! She gave advice and was willing to offer a helping hand in so much! It was really nice and felt like I had another friend there. Rachel was also amazing working with a large group of groomsmen! Overall, I would definitely recommend Alicia King Photography again and again. Amazing photos, affordable packages, and so much kindness. Thank you so much!
