Above and Beyond!

We used the AC hotel as home-base for our wedding weekend. We had a room block and the AC hosted two of our wedding-weekend events: our Saturday after party after our reception and Sunday brunch. We had a wonderful experience with the AC Hotel. The staff at the AC Hotel is professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. We did not have one report of a negative interaction. Everyone was amazing. From Friday morning check-in until Sunday Monday morning check-out everyone was gracious and pleasant and went above and beyond. Emily, was lovely to work with and very accommodating and flexible when we needed to change and rearrange things. Everyone was timely in their responses and understanding when we were not so timely in ours. They helped us brainstorm and problem solve to give the very best to our weekend guests.

The AC delivered everything as promised, and more, without a hitch.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was!

Afternoon Halloween Minimony

We had to postpone the ceremony due to COVID like many other people, but we still wanted to get married. We decided on Asheville because we love it and it is a half way point between us and our parents. Debbie, the wedding coordinator, is PHENOMENAL. We did this all sight unseen, no tastings, all through email and did not have a single issue. We requested various menu changes which were done without hesitation. She helped with table décor - we exchanged photos and ideas. We didn't decorate too much aside from that - it already looks nice. We discussed various ideas of where to have me walk based on where the sun would be at that time and she went out and looked at various times within the time range that we would be there to give me the best placing for the ceremony.... I could go on and on and on but essentially, she and everyone who helped us out that day, made it a fun and easy day when everything else had been difficult. We were behind on time - which was our fault, but they were accommodating and helped us out where they could. We learned a lot about what to do and what not to do (again all on us for the what not to do) for the "Big Day" when all of our friends and family can attend.

A Perfect Experience

Although we had a short timeline time when planning our wedding welcome reception for our son in Asheville, our experience at the AC Marriott downtown location was as if we had planned it for months! Everything was exactly as we wanted. The food was top notch. My husband and I travel quite extensively, and have had our share of “hotel food.” But we were pleasantly surprised at the quality, flavors, and presentation of all the food that we had! Our guests continue to remark on how delicious the food was. The venue was just beautiful. The views of Asheville and the mountains are breathtaking. You get the views not only from the reserved space itself, but also from the outdoor patio and rooftop bar area that are adjoining. Having all of our guests watched and photographed the sunset was like no extra cost entertainment! From the sales contact person to the events coordinator to the servers and bartenders, all were professional, friendly, and accommodating. Debbie Diaz was our point of contact person when booking this venue. Since we live out of state, it was so important to have someone like Debbie to explain exactly what the space looked and felt like, giving us her suggestions when asked. She even took pictures on her own phone to send us to get different angles. Our phone conferences and email exchanges were done in a very timely manner. I just can’t say enough about our experience!

Perfect cocktial hour spot!

I reserved a space on the rooftop terrace for a per-wedding social the weekend of our wedding. The space was perfect, provided both indoor and outdoor seating, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for the view!

Wonderful location and service

We are so glad we chose the AC Hotel for our ceremony and reception. When we picked it a year ago, all we had to go on was our experience having drinks on the rooftop at Capella. But working with the in-house team was great - they were responsive and flexible with us, even some of our outside the box ideas. And our food was amazing - not at all what you expect from hotel or big banquet food. Guests were raving about it afterwards. Not sure if we were one of the first ceremonies on the "ledge" but it was an excellent location and we timed it to get the sunset in the background.

So helpful & professional!

This venue has everything! It's in Asheville City Center, you can walk to all the hottest restaurants, breweries & bars. It is upscale without the upscale price. The views are amazing and the bar at Capella on 9 is so convenient! We eloped with no guests and the whole staff was super accommodating! Treva Scott our Wedding consultant at The AC Hotel was so kind, helpful & she made sure my Groom and I had everything we needed not just for the wedding but for our overall stay at the hotel. It is cost effective and you get alot for the money!!! I highly recommend this venue in Asheville, NC.

Super food and service

The rehearsal dinner and after party were superbly done. Even at the reception elsewhere the next day guests were bragging on the food and service. We could not have asked for a better location, better service, or better food. Everytime visiting for planning the staff were warm, and friendly and able to respond to questions and desires. I would strongly recommend as a venue for parties and events.

Used a ballroom for a rehearsal dinner 9/21/2018. Very beautiful views and venue, great, responsive, management staff, excellent food and service. Highly recommend. Would use them again if had a similar need. We also easily worked out a way to pay for parking for our guests in the adjoining parking deck.

Cannot day enough about how beautiful this hotel is. I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful ! The food and service were top knotch.
