Teresa Almond and her staff were amazing at our October wedding! I was a little hesitant to hire A one catering because they did not provide a tasting of their food before the wedding. They did offer for you to come to other weddings that they were catering and try the food in the kitchen, but since this is not Teresa's full time job it was impossible for her to be able offer private tastings.
But after Teresa provided a very complete list of references and she was a preferred vendor at our venue, I decided to just go with it. We ordered pecan crusted chicken, pasta with red sauce, white sauce, and meatballs, baked apples, a baked potato bar, mac and cheese, rolls, and salad. We chose to have this buffet style with the salad served to guests at their seats. She also provided tea, lemonade, water, and coffee. We also had vegetables and dip, fruit and dip, and cheese and crackers during cocktail hour.
I have gotten so many compliments about our food! She makes what people want to eat and she had so many choices. She also provides plastic dishes, cups and silverware at no extra charge. I used these for cocktail hour but wanted wood plates for dinner to go with our theme.
I also had a flower catastrophe right before my wedding and had to drive to Walmart to find more flowers, when I got back I was trying to put arrangements together and decorate the buffet table. Teresa asked me if I wanted her to do it for me so I could go get ready. I thanked her and left. When I came into the reception I was blown away with how beautiful she had decorated the buffet table for me. Thank you Teresa for going over and beyond!
I would recommend Teresa for her professionalism, her attention to detail, and her initiative to make the event the best she can.
