We found out about Alanas' services via our catering company, Eat & Smile. We are so glad we hired Alana and had her be our day of coordinator. She was so much more than a day-of person. She touched base with us monthly or bi-monthly the months before the wedding and was always very responsive to our emails and could recommend vendors as well (thanks for the DJ recommendation - Brian Jones!). On more than one occasion during the planning process, my husband and I said to each other, we don't know how we could do this without Alana. On the day of, she knocked it out of the park. If you're thinking of having a coordinator - you should really look into hiring Alana.

Hiring Alana as our day of coordinator was the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail are top notch. She was incredibly helpful leading up to our wedding day, meticulously following up with us about every little detail (even things we would have never thought about) and clearly communicating with all our vendors. On our wedding day, Alana was an absolute rockstar! Both our families were amazed at how she managed everything behind the scenes seamlessly. Alana made sure my husband and I could enjoy our wedding day, knowing that she was keeping everything on track. If you're considering hiring Alana, DO IT NOW!

Looking back out our wedding day it is very easy to say that the BEST decision we made (other than marrying each other of course) was to hire Alana as our day of coordinator. Alana was referred to us by our caterer (eat and smile: also AMAZING) for her day of coordination services: but she went so far above and beyond a day of person's role. From the moment we first met with her I knew she would be on top of all the details and ensure our day would run smoothly without us having to stress or worry. We had a very large number of vendors, with whom she coordinated all scheduling/final details and reviewed all contracts. She thought of things that I would never have remembered to do and made it so that we could enjoy our wedding day without a single logistical worry. She was also so excited about our wedding and our party: she made the process fun and easy.

Alana was our day-of coordinator for our wedding back in October, and we could not have possibly imagined someone being so helpful. Even though she was technically only a day-of coordinator, she was always responsive to any questions we had about general wedding planning, vendors, and was always willing to reach out and connect us with people that might be helpful, or even to step in and help coordinate with third parties. I think it's safe to say that she went well above and beyond what we had expected, and was honestly one of the most critical resources for us for the entire year leading up to the wedding. She is incredibly organized, and takes out such an amazing effort to become familiar with you and your vision for your special day, but always willing to fill in blanks where they might arise. Not only that, she sent us these AMAZING google docs with layouts, timelines, item checklists, and more which were INCREDIBLY helpful. Did I mention she showed up the day of and essentially quarterbacked the entire pre-wedding setup, helped us put together and arrange our centerpieces, and saved my personal skin by making sure myself and my groomsmen were actually wearing our boutonnieres? I don't think I've ever seen a wedding go so smoothly, and I have absolutely no doubt it was only possible because Alana was there. AND, she was always bright and upbeat, even when she needed to whip people into shape to get them where they needed to be. I'm sure she had to yell at some of our ragtag band of wedding misfits, but it certainly didn't feel like it. In short, what can I say except YAAASSS YAAASSS QUEEN.

Alana was our day-of coordinator, but honestly, she provided so much more to us than just that. We were introduced to Alana through our caterer, Eat & Smile, and knew the second we met her that we wanted to work with her. She was very poised but laid-back, and we knew we'd be in good hands. She even recommended our amazing photographers, Peter J Casey Photography, who we wouldn't have found otherwise! Alana was extremely communicative from the time we booked her through our wedding, sending emails consistently and making sure our planning was on track, all with a great professionalism and a sense of humor. She coordinated with all of our day-of vendors and made our wedding run smoothly. She was super patient with our disorganized bunch during our rehearsal and made sure we were all on track to do what we needed to do the day of - it went perfectly! I even caught her busting a move to our playlist a few times :) Alana made coordination seem effortless, but I know she did a TON of work behind the scenes. My husband even said that he was sad that our wedding was over because "we won't get to hang out with Alana anymore." I know we'll see her around the city - and you should book her ASAP!

Alana is amazing and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We initially approached Alana to help with day-of coordinating, and in our introductory conversation it became clear that we really needed way more help than we had previously realized. My fiance and I had never organized or hosted such a big event, and we had no idea how much time, thought, and coordination goes into all of the different pieces. Alana was a lifesaver - extraordinarily organized, detail-oriented, and responsive, as well as cheerful and friendly.

From referrals to walk-throughs to timeline/seating planning to staging to vendor contracts and rentals to last-minute emergencies, Alana and her assistant Jackie were on top of everything. Alana has an encyclopedic knowledge of all aspects of a wedding, will think of things that would never occur to you, will proactively head off problems, and will walk you through the pros and cons of different choices in a way that’s incredibly helpful. On the day of, she and Jackie were everywhere at once, and they did an amazing job of running the show. My husband and I were able to fully enjoy the wedding and spend our time with our guests, secure in the knowledge that they were keeping everything on track. In short, hiring Alana was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process, and I have no idea how we would have made it through without her.
