DIY Black and White Wedding Favor
Hey there! I'm having and black-and-white halloween wedding and was wondering if anybody had any cute, unique black and white, do it yourself, wedding favor ideas, or site that I could reference. My husband is keen on getting monogramed hershey bars, which are cute, but I'm very arts and crafts-y and so I like the idea of making my own favors. Any ideas?

Do you want to a Halloween themed favor?

You could always buy the hersheys bars and then make your own covers to go over them with a black and white overlay with your monogram on the top or something else on top. That way he gets his idea but you get to make them.

Halloween favors would be very cool, so we were thinking about candy and cookies, and maybe putting them in those old orange pumpkin trick-or-treating bowls that kids walk around with at Halloween.

One of the girls on the knot just had an awesome halloween wedding. I haven't seen the pictures yet but the girls who have said it was amazing. She should post them soon.

I will keep my eyes open! I love to see the different kinds of halloween weddings.

I was thinking maybe candy with black bows and those little cheap spider rings around the middle of the bows. Or maybe spiderweb back with trick-or-treat monogramed goodies inside.

Candy buffet? Lots of people say they're over done but I've not been to a wedding with one.

Its kind of cheesy but they make those chocolates that come in a wrapper that looks like an eyeball...

That bouquet is absolutely gorgeous. I may look into doing something like that with mine.

Those are so much fun though, cheesy or not.

Also, we are going to have a white cake with black silhoetted butterflies and a jack and sally (Nightmare before Christmas) cake topper.

Ah yes, a couple girls have also used Nightmare before Christmas toppers. There's lots of fun things you can do

We thought, also, about making a blood-colored punch and bottle it and giving that as a favor, too. We've been trying to find somewhere that sells easily-topped glass bottles, though.

I think your idea about putting candy in the "trick - o - treat" pail is a great idea for favors.

I thought of black and white cookies too. I'll bet you could bake them ahead of time, freeze them, and then frost closer to the wedding.
