Getting ready

I gave the girls robes and slippers (the floors in the brides room were cold!) as part of their bridesmaid gifts at the rehearsal dinner the night before. Everyone wore leggings or lounge pants with the robes. I had a white robe, blue pajama pants, and white slippers with a sparkly “Mrs” on them. (My colors were blue and white.)


I realized I never got a picture of all of us in the robes! This is the best one I can find. (The lady in black is our day-of coordinator.)

I forgot the food question! I took the girls out to breakfast before we went to start getting ready, then I had a sandwich tray and fruit tray I’d picked up from the grocery store set out in the bride’s room. The ceremony was at 2, so we all lunched on sandwiches after pictures when we were just sitting around!

We all just wore whatever we wanted. I didn’t do matching outfits because it seemed like an unnecessary expense. We picked up bagels and fruit in the morning and then the venue also provided us a charcuterie board in the bridal suite.

They each wore whatever was comfortable for them -- robe, yoga pants, zip-up hoodie, etc. We mostly did hair and makeup before the photographer arrived, so they didn't have to dress for photos of those moments. As for lunch, we had delivery brought in and the venue also provided some light snacks in the bridal suite.
