Chinese Knockoff - My actual DH Gate Trash the Dress Dress vs. what's advertised

Some detail shots of the front and back as well as the "Crystals" which are actually cheap sequins and plastic beads. The real dress has gorgeous big crystal things.

Maybe you can buy a $7 slip fro china to try to help bring some life to the bottom? No one will see the "crystals" when they are covered in "blood"

This is why we try to warn a lot of brides to save the disappointment. A lot of times, they order this for their wedding and are disappointed with the results. Hopefully other brides will take heed.

Hi Ladies, Thank you for the compliments on my real dress. I LOVE IT! I can't wait to see it again on June 12th! Once I have the REAL one I'll do a side by side comparison of me in both the original and fake dresses and get some better close ups of the crystals on the real dress.

These Chinese knockoffs are great if you're using them for a trash the dress, but if you were expecting what their advertising in the photos on their websites you will be greatly disappointed.

I'm so glad that this isn't your "real" dress! From far away, I don't think the difference in the top is that extreme and you could probably get away with it. But wow, the skirt is terrible!

Are you still going to use this for your TTD?

Have you considered doing a TTD video to have some fun with the zombie theme?!

Love this post! I always was debating on going with a Chinese dress til I found THE Dress. But this is great to FINALLY see the difference on a real person.

Hi ladies! I'd definitely suggest adding this post to your 'Watchlist' so that you can easily refer new brides to it when they ask!

Unfortunately, I think that adding stickys for everything people ask about will end up defeating the purpose... We know that many people ignore those posts anyway :/

Perhaps adding it into the 'New to WW' post for those who DO look at stickys would be beneficial!
