Bridal Shower help!
I'm the maid of honor for a best friends wedding and i'm having a lot of trouble thinking of ideas for her bridal shower. She's not getting married until this comeing June but i'm trying to get things together right now. Her colors are yellow and white. she might be making my dress a light blue or pink but isn't sure yet. other than that I don't have too much more info. her wedding and reception is outside and she's a real simple bride. She also told me she wants "fun" stuff. If you need more info don't be afraid to ask i'll try to answer lol Thanks for any help!

have a spring picnic and play games outside. See who can pin up the most clothes on a laundry line and stuff like that. Tell everyone to wrap their gifts up in clear celophane so that you dont waste time with gifts and more time with the girls and games.

I am having a couples shower. And my theme is "Stock the Bar". Maybe you can do something like that.

Love the picnic idea. If you live in acommunity with a club house. Maybe even something by a pool is always fun.

or if your close to all the brides maids you can do a covered dish shower. look online for party games
.
i looked on google under bridal shower ideas

There are a lot of really fun shower games out there. Divide the group into teams & have them pick a "model", each team designs a toilet paper wedding dress. Another fun is to do a relay race with a plunger and roll of toilet paper. The person at the end of the lawn holds the toilet paper between their knees and the people in the line make their way across the lawn holding a plunger between their knees, when they get to the end, they have to put the plunger stick into the hole of the TP without using their hands. When they succeed, the plunger now becomes the TP holder, & the next person in line goes. The last one is funny, but might not be age appropriate - may be funnier at a couples shower!

One thing to keep in mind is that you don't have to keep with the theme of the colors from the wedding. The shower can be an event all on its own. More than likely you will be throwing the shower in spring. So think spring lol! Bare branches in vases, birds....

Make up a list of questions about the bride and/or groom. Like, what is the bride/groom's favorite color? Favorite movie? Favorit TV show? Favorite place to shop? Favorite restaurant? Where did they first meet? Shoe size? And then make copies for all the guests to fill out. Whoever scores the highest wins a prize.

Another game is to have a tray of stuff, random things that don't necessarily have to be wedding related. Pass the tray around. And then have everyone write down everything they can remember from the tray. Whoever remembers the most wins. It is fun if you have random things some people might not even know what they are.
