Proposal help (is this an okay idea)

I need to speak to my girlfriends parents to say I'm going to propose. I don't love close to them and they are very busy at the moment. Can I send them a voicenote today, they are babysitting for her sister, stating my intentions and say that I am free tomorrow to call if they wanted to talk about it more.


I basically want to let them know ita happening, that's the way that my partner has said she would like it to be done as she's been married before, and I also think it would be nice for them and my partner to have me asking them to listen to in the future.
