Wendy catered our Stinson Beach Community Center wedding reception in October 2014 and the food and service were incredible. Throughout the planning process, Wendy was fun and easy to work. We really appreciated her ability to match our budget with a wide array of choices as well as organic and local options. The appetizers, dinner, berry cobbler, and late night cheese burgers were all a huge success. Our guests still talk about the high quality of the food and how exceptional the staff treated everyone. I should also note that Wendy was able to easily cater to the bride and guest's food sensitivities. Overall, our wedding night went as smooth as we could have imagined due to all the behind-the-scenes hard work of Wendy and her staff. We highly recommend Herbs and Spices catering for weddings and special events.

I was fortunate to have met Akiko at a dear friend's wedding. The photos from their wedding were absolutely beautiful! My friend has continued to use Akiko since then for photos of her children. So when it was time to pick out a photographer for our wedding, there wasn't any question that it should be Akiko. Our wedding took place in Santa Barbara county, at our friend's home. She did such an amazing job capturing the outside beauty, and of course capturing our day. Her pictures showed emotions that are heartwarming to look at; the first time I looked at our proofs, it brought me to tears and it was absolutely wonderful to relive that day through her photos. I know that in years to come, I and others will look at our photos and see how much fun that day was. Thank you so very much, Akiko!

There are not enough amazing things I could say about working with Maurice. What initially attracted me to his work was his eye for dimension and lighting that bring so mooch more to his photos than posed, artificial feeling snaps. We did our "Lifestyle Session" aka engagement shoot with him and he really gave us the tools and feedback to make the photos not only amazing, but really captured the essence of who we are as a couple. If you love details, tips, and lots of open communication, you'll love working with Nina and Maurice. Disclaimer, I'm writing this review before he's even sent us the wedding photos themselves, but I am THAT confident that they'll be phenomenal. He knew exactly when to take charge and when to be invisible at the wedding and I can't wait to see the art he' produced!

Having Very Merry Events coordinate during the month of our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made! Our wedding was held at Cornerstone Sonoma which plays hosts to multiple property attractions including a winery, barn, dinner tent, shops and outdoor art installations. With a venue as such, VME was efficient and strategic in all accounts to ensure each phase of our wedding ran smoothly. Rom was absolutely amazing as our lead coordinator! Right off the bat, she understood our style and the type of wedding we wanted to plan. She showed a genuine interest and offered sincere suggestions which we really appreciated. With it being wedding season and all, we never once felt her attention divide. We can not thank her enough for being engaged and on top of everything. As a bride who has never dreamed up a wedding as a child, we were kind of just pulling random pins in hopes it would all come together. Rom was really supportive of all our major DIY projects and even scheduled touch bases to help keep us on track. We commend her patience and positive attitude throughout the entire adventure. The level of dedication we received from Rom and VME on our wedding day was above and beyond anything we expected! The communication between all our vendors alongside the VME team was consistent from start to finish. Throughout the day we even received compliments from our guests on their professionalism and how well each series of events was executed and transitioned to the next. It was clear all parties involved were on the same page. Number one wedding day advice: spend a moment with each other to just take it all in. We are so grateful for Rom, as we were lucky enough to take in many moments during our wedding day!

It is extremely important that you like your wedding photographer because they will be with you all day. Regas is easy going, friendly, and a lot of fun to work with. Also, Regas has excellent attention to detail and touches up many of the photos just because he is so passionate about his work (most photographers charge big bucks for this as an added service). Afterward, we had pages of photos, and the album seemed like a daunting task. However, Regas gave us a first draft which was a great starting point. Plus he had a lot of neat artistic ideas for photo arrangements. Then he was extremely patient with us as we tweaked pretty much every page of the album. Plus, he has a lot of options for album copies that you can give to special family members. Regardless of who you go with, I highly recommend that you do an engagement photo shoot so you can get comfortable with your photographer before the big day.

We were thrilled with the photos Rudy took of our wedding. They turned out great! Rudy was very easy to work with and had lots of great ideas. We especially found his 'candid' shots to be exceptional. He really captured the evening and provided us with a way to always remember the night. Thanks Rudy! Zo S.

Graham was splendid to work with. He was recommended to us by our photographer, and we're super grateful. When we were looking through his portfolio, my DH was most excited by the fact that most of his highlight reels were upbeat and fun, rather than slow and romantic. He got fantastic footage the day of the wedding, especially considering he was only one man, with only one camera. He collaborated with us on picking a perfect "cinematic" score for our highlight reel, and both it and the 2-hour+ documentary edit he sent us were fabulous. We look forward to watching our videos over and over for the rest of our lives!

We love Simple Petals's services. They did the all the flowers for our wedding and they are excellent in each and every way. The flowers, the designs, the arrangements were what we'd wanted and were beyond our expectations. Our wedding guests were wowed by our bouquet and our centerpieces. Simple Petals was very flexible and try to accommodate our changes. We decided to go with their services after comparing their costs with other vendors' and we actually saved a lot of $$ on the costs. Over all, we have been very happy with Simple Petal's services and happy to recommend this vendor to our friends and family for future events.

We worked with Sonya for our 2022 wedding and are so glad we found her. We did our engagement shoot at Lake Tahoe, a SF city hall shoot when we got our marriage license, and our wedding day in Half Moon Bay. Sonya was always professional and had a way of getting us to open up in front of the camera. As a couple new to professional photography, we appreciated how kind and relatable she was and how she could make us comfortable for the photos. Her photos are absolute works of art! We love each set of them and are so glad that we opted to have each set. If we had any feedback or questions, she was always happy to explain the technique and also take our requests to heart. If you’re wondering if you should get an engagement or other shoot before the wedding day, do it! It gives you and the photographer time to get to know each other and ensure the wedding day photos are exactly what you want. Sonya was so helpful in finding the right locations and light for shots. We were scoping out certain spots but then did day-of adjustments due to weather - she’s fantastic at finding the best spaces and light. Our city hall photos are spectacular- she knows that building inside and out and can make them phenomenal. We had lots of different spaces at our wedding venue and she found the shot in all of them. We loved all the photos from our shoots and are so glad we got a full wedding album. Sonya had excellent layout ideas for our album and was able to augment our selected photos for the best story and book possible. It’s one of our most treasured items. We would jump at the opportunity to work with Sonya again and if you’re thinking about booking with her- do it! She’s a true artist and professional and you won’t regret having her on your wedding team.
