When our venue required a month-of coordinator, I wasn’t entirely sure what the experience would be like, but working with Samantha Hall Events exceeded every expectation. Samantha stepped in about five weeks out and immediately brought an incredible level of organization, professionalism, and calm to the process (which I very much needed at the time!). She seamlessly managed logistics, timelines, and vendor communication, ensuring nothing fell through the cracks as we headed into our wedding. Her attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs made the entire experience stress-free and allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day. Samantha was an absolute lifesaver, and I’m so grateful for her expertise. I highly recommend her to any couple looking for a flawless and well-executed wedding!

Lily Pad Floral Design knocked it out of the park for our recent micro-wedding. Rebecca is the friendliest, most easy-going true artist. From the very beginning when I sent her many emails and had an initial phone conversation to get an idea of her work and our budget, to when we went in person (pre-COVID!) for a consultation when she wowed my mom with her quick understanding of our vision, Rebecca was wonderful. She was also quick to respond to numerous questions and requests for changes after we changed our original wedding date and venue and made some tweaks to our flower plans as a result. The flowers at our wedding were even more stunning than I had imagined, and my only regret is that we aren’t local because if we were, I’d use Lily Pad Floral for all of my floral arrangements for any occasion from now on!

Our wedding invitations turned out fantastic because of Nicole! She was quick to response, open to sudden changes, and extremely helpful. I think we exchanged hundreds of emails trying to perfect my invitation, but she took it all in stride. She constantly emailed me to make sure that we were both on the same page. I shopped around before finding Nicole. Other invitations were too expensive for my budget, but when I found Nicole, she was willing to work with my budget and the end product was of highest quality! I am so happy to have found Nicole! I definitely recommend her services!

I found out about "MyBigDayDesigns" through Etsy. I was looking for unique but colorful designs. This vendor offered various options to choose from to fit just about any theme. The quality was beautiful and my guests adored the invitations. Even the ones were were unable to attend my wedding thought the invitations were really something. I spent a small extra amount to have envelopes sent to save time which made everything easy and convenient.

Sam is such an awesome professional. She listened to me and took note of my preferences but also made great suggestions. I had a trial make-up session and it made everything so smooth during the day of the wedding. Brides-to-be, look no further, Sam is definitely the one you should hire...

Chef David recently moved into this adorable little bake shop in Hermosa Beach on Hermosa Avenue. I was told by a friend to be sure and stop by to check out this new pie and bake shop. I was lucky enough to meet Chef David and discussed my wish for 150 cupcakes and one smaller cake to be the ceremonial "cut cake". This guy is a 100% professional! While his talents are far beyond cupcakes, he agreed to do this for us. His request was simply to let him be creative. And was he EVER!!! The cupcakes were gorgeous and so completely unique. He decorated 3 or 4 different styles including a Chocolate Blueberry cupcake (real fresh organic blueberry's on top!) The vanilla was my favorite and I have never tasted such a fresh, moist cake as that! All were delicious. I kid you not every guest raved about the cupcakes (and they were a substantial size!). He uses all organic ingredients and was very interesting to talk to. Check this place out for pastries, cakes, pies! We were soooo lucky to have found this place!

Blair was fantastic! So easy and down to earth to work with. She couldn't have made the process easier or more enjoyable. And I got SO many compliments during the day about how good my make-up looked - which is pretty much all a bride can ask for!

Misti and Colin were GREAT! They photographed our wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico in April 2017. From the moment we contacted them for information, they were responsive and helpful. They even helped us find our DJ in the area who was also awesome! We felt like Misti and Colin were the best photographers in the Playa del Carmen area. Having two photographers there on the big day was so nice because they were each able to get pictures of really important details that might have been missed had it just been one photographer there. For instance, while everyone was dancing and Misti was getting our pictures on the dance floor, Colin went outside and arranged a beautiful photo opp among the lit-up palm trees at nighttime. He was able to then grab us to take a really amazing shot that we will cherish forever. When my husband and I were taking our couple pictures, they offered guidance with our posing and what would look best with the lighting. We also liked that they only did wedding photography and no other services like videography because it allowed them to really focus on making the pictures the best they could be. Planning a wedding in Mexico from the USA is a difficult process and it was made much easier with these two providing their insight along the way. We would recommend these two over and over again!

The Beach Bus was a HUGE hit at our 6/24/22 wedding. The team was incredibly friendly and professional and helped make our event so much fun! We had a few small children who spent a lot of time in the bus and the team was very cool about it. The kids weren't disruptive but I can understand how someone may not have wanted them taking photos out of the printer and passing them out to guests but Chris took it in stride and knew the kids by name within a few minutes. He was very attentive all night and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had with the bus and the team there. They went above and beyond for us and I can't say enough nice things about the Beach Bus crew. The pricing was fair and we got a lot of bang for our buck. The communication before the event was professional, organized, and punctual. If you're on the fence, this is your sign to book them! You won't be sorry!
