Working with Yanira was fun and a pleasure. She took our engagement photos and we couldnt be anymore satisfied with the end product. She is extremely patient and generous with her time. Highly recommend her.

We hired Yanira for our courthouse wedding. We wanted to have professional photos for ourselves to commemorate our special day. Yanira was very helpful and responsive from the moment I contacted her, with the highest level of professionalism. The day of, both my husband and I were VERY nervous, as we don’t normally like being in front of the camera. But she made us both feel comfortable and at ease, showing us photos in between shots, and making sure we were satisfied. We even got a few sneak peek photos much sooner than we thought we would! It was easy working with Yanira, and we love every photo she took. We both look forward to working with her again.

She was AWESOME! Super sweet, phenomenal photos, and listened to different things we were looking for. I’d recommend her for any event!

Yanira consistently went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied and pleased with everything during my big day, and afterwards. I am so grateful Yanira was there literally the entire day from 9am-10pm. She is a shining example of professionalism and creativity. Every image of our wedding jumps off the page, as if coming to life. Yanira has a way of blending the authenticity and "realness" of people with magical auras. Lastly, within two minutes of meeting Yanira you know she truly cares about you and your event, and will be there to not only capture your day, but to celebrate in it with you. That is special and unique. I love everything that is Yanira Scalise Photography. She is a rare gem. I would definitely work with her again in the future (family portraits), and I recommend her for anyone out there who wants to be wowed by their wedding photos!

Yanira was able to fly all the way to NC to photograph my wedding! It’s a long story but she was very flexible, affordable, and great at communicating and getting back to me whenever I had questions. I had no doubt that Yanira would be there on my wedding day and ready to photograph into the night! She captured every moment in the photographs from all different angles. She edited the pictures beautifully and got the pictures to us pretty quickly considering how many there were!

She didn’t mention in our contract that she did not do touch ups on pictures. She took very long to give me my pictures and when she did she didn’t bother putting it in a cd, in an email or usb. She just told me to download them from her site. Then when I convinced her to do some touch ups on 13 pictures she took over a month to complete them. She texted me and asked me for payment after telling me that the pictures were done. Didn’t ask if they were to my liking before asking for payment. When I viewed them the edits weren’t done like I asked. I sent specific shots of each picture with the specific edits I needed. She lost those edit requests 3 times. I had to take time out of my very busy schedule to gather the pictures with edit instructions and resend them. Then when I asked if she had done any of the edits I asked she said, “I’m editing them from my car and have 2% battery! Could you please approve and pay me?” Not professional at all! I had scheduled her for 3 events even after this episode. But decided on only using her for 2 of the 3 events instead. She didn’t take it well and quit on my 2nd event just like that. She owes me $800 and hasn’t paid me yet. It has been a month and still nothing. Beware
