This is the worst bunch of people i have ever seen. They took our money and did not show up for my daughters wedding and now I can not get in touch with them to get my money back. Don't even bother with them. She even called and told us someone would be there.

Jessica McGettigan is a scam artist. She was living in Tybee Island Georgia until her husband got caught embezzling money and depositing it into her business account which she denied knowing anything about it. She has no loyality to anyone. Also watch your fiance's around her because i caught her leaving messages on my husband's phone and she knew he was married and i was also pregnant at the time, I heard she was hiding out in Calera with her newest victim/boyfriendand his name is David. Good luck ever seeing your money again.

I contacted this company to come out and do hair and makeup for me on the day of my wedding. Since then, every contact number that I have for them has been disconnected and I have been unable to reach them ever since. I have even sent emails to the email addresses that they previously contacted me through. Not to mention I have already paid them money. They have literally disappeared and I am out of the money that I paid them.

Tour de Glam/Birmingham Glam is the most poorly run makeup business in the Birmingham area. I booked Jessica months 4 months before our wedding date. This included makeup for myself, my mother, and my bridal party, as well as a pre-trial makeup run.

Three weeks before my wedding, Jessica quit answering emails and phone calls. She also over charged two of my bridesmaids and ignored their requests to be refunded.

Three days before my wedding I booked another makeup artist. Jessica proceeded to call me that day with a sob story of why she hadn't answered me. We then agreed that she would not do my makeup, but would still do the makeup of my bridal party and MIL.

She NEVER showed up on my wedding day. She sent texts ranging from that she'd be late to she had an emergency to she wasn't coming at all and would refund us all.

She STILL HAS NOT refunded us and refuses to take my calls or speak to me.

I would advise any bride to go with another company and avoid this unnecessary stress! I hope you all find this review helpful and have a wonderful wedding with a reliable makeup artist!

I started working with this company back in December 2010 for my April 2011 wedding. It was the biggest mess. They were having a lot of internal business changes, such as, staff changes, location changes etc. My file and contract were not organized and I had to meet with them 2 more time to get things straightened out. It was very stressful for me since I was planning my wedding myself. The day before my wedding they called me at 5:30 while I was rehearsing at my church to let me know that they were changing my makeup time from 11 to 9am on the day of my wedding. I walked down the aisle at 6pm. Also because of the last minute time change I was unable to treat my Mom and sister to having their makeup done like I had arranged.
While this team does do good makeup they at the moment are very unorganized. It was unfortunate that they were not able to fulfill their end of their contract. I spent over $500 for makeup for my portraits and my wedding day makeup...and I have yet to hear back from them about reimbursing me for the services that my Mom and sister were unable to receive.

I loved working with the girls from Birmingham Glam. Jessica and Brittany did an amazing job with the hair and make up on me, my Bridesmaids and my mother. I loved the fact that they come to you taking the stress off of having to go to any salon to get ready. They stayed with me for touch ups up until I walked down the aisle to say "I Do". I received so many compliments on how beautiful I was and received many questions inquiring who did my hair and make up.They were very professional and I would highly recommend them to any Bride to be.

The team from Birmingham Glam was professional, courteous and showed good old fashioned southern hospitality. I was reluctant when I first contacted them as I had always been disappointed with the way my make-up turned out when I've had it done "professionally" in the past. The team proved me wrong on my preview date. On my wedding day they arrive early to set up and everything went just as I had imagined. I had my make-up airbrushed and I loved the look and feel. My mother surprised me by hiring B'ham Glam for my wedding. I assumed we would drive to the hair salon and then do our own make up. When I arrived for my trial I immediately felt comfortable. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to have the hair style that I have dreamed of since I was a small child. My hair is much thinner nowadays and my regular stylist told me that I wouldn't be able to have the hair style that I wanted due to my thinning hair. I was so pleased when the hair pro at B'ham Glam suggested that I have real human hair clip in extensions for the day of the wedding. We tried them and I had a very modern side bun and just couldn't believe how natural and amazing my hair looked. Additionally, I have never had a positive experience when having my make up done at cosmetic counters. It was refreshing to have my make up done by this true team of professionals! After I left my trial and visited my mother, she actually cried because I looked so great. I really feel that my confidence was enhanced and the best part was that I looked like "ME" just better. I will recommend this company to all my friends.

Birmingham Glam was excellent. I went into my wedding day completely confident and relaxed about my hair and makeup, which for me is atypical. I highly recommend the airbrush makeup. It stayed on and beautiful all night through heat and lots of dancing. My hair was also great! I have a lot of it and this was the first hairstylist to successfully style my hair the way I've always dreamed it would be for my wedding and with complete confidence that it wasn't going to fall. I highly recommend Birmingham Glam. All of my bridesmaids and both mothers were thrilled with their service as well! Thanks again!

Jessica and her team were all very talented, professional and fun to work with! Jessica was great to work with from the planning stages until the big day. The bride and entire bridal party had a fun and relaxed time getting ready for the wedding, and Jessica stayed with us through pictures and until after the ceremony. We loved having her and her team!!

The services provided were well worth the money spent. I recommend for every bride to make this splurge.
