Based in Hazel Green, Alabama, Songbird Artistry by Rita Lorraine is a wedding makeup service. Rita Lorraine Parks, who goes by Lorraine, is the professional behind the company. Originally an opera singer, this artist has now been crafting makeup looks for clients for more than seven years. At the age of 12, she was first inspired by the idea of makeup and bridal beauty when she saw her cousin have her makeup done for her big day. She loved seeing how makeup was used to highlight her cousin's innate beauty and decided that she wanted to do the same for others.
Services Offered
Songbird Artistry by Rita Lorraine offers packages for the nearly wed, their parents, and the wedding party. Lorraine can also provide makeup services for individuals for other special events, such as bridal showers, engagement photo sessions, quinceañeras, school formals/dances, or any other special occasions you can think of! In addition, Lorraine offers lessons for those who want to learn how to apply their own makeup.

We hired Lorraine for my wedding and she was a gem from start to finish! She gave me a free bridal trial to see if I liked her style and was very attentive to my vision. It was so nice to not pay for a trial given all of the expenses that come with getting married. I never once felt uncertain about the quality of her services and her ability to deliver. In addition, her prices are EXTREMELY reasonable compared to other local makeup artists I looked at. Needless to say, my wedding day makeup was FABULOUS and I will be using her again for special events in the future and recommending her to all future brides in my life. -
