We had 3 different coordinators over the 10 months before our wedding and felt like we had to start all over again with each new person. The 3rd was changed out about 1 month before the wedding which made it really stressful. However, the reception turned out great! Everything was as expected. The food was amazing! The service was great. I came by the day before to drop off table numbers, escort card, and favors and they were all set up for me. I also gave them a list of all my vendors and they coordinated with everyone to make sure everything was set up and in order by the time we arrived. We received so many compliments on the food and venue from guests.

The Houston Club was amazing for our wedding reception! They went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating the day of our wedding. The service staff was phenomenal. They even packed up food for my husband and I to take with us after the reception because they knew we hadn't eaten much. By the time we left the reception, everything had already been packed up in cars. My family was really impressed with the level of experience, professionalism and expertise. They made our wedding memorable. All of the staff is amazing and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to help me with setting out gifts, favors and anything else I needed day of.

My wedding reception turned out wonderful! The service was great the day of and everything looked beautiful. Just make sure you get every single detail of your day documented in writing and double check your bills before you pay. Overall, a wonderful place to have a reception.

Justin and I were extremely pleased with the service given to us by The Houston Club for our wedding reception. Victoria was a huge help in the planning of our reception. She was always available and responsive to my questions. All of details we planned for the reception were carried off perfectly. During the reception, the entire staff, particulary our wedding coordinator (Lucy I believe was her name but I am not positive), were very attentive, friendly, and helpful to our family, friends, and to Justin and me. We will highly recommend having a reception at The Houston Club to anyone we know who will be planning a wedding. Thank you all so very much for giving us a wonderful and memorable reception!

The Houston Club provided a great venue for our 300 or so guests. It is an old "oil-mans'" club, so everything has a very classic, old, downtown feel. My husband and I brought in a lot of bright color for our reception, and it was a nice mix of classic and fun/modern. The food is great, fancy without being stuffy...the salmon carving station was a hit. Overall, it was a good place...they seat up to 850 in their largest ballroom, a RARITY for downtown reception venues.
