Facilities and Capacity
April Sound Country Club offers indoor and outdoor facilities for a spectacular and stylish wedding celebration. The outdoor ceremony site features a lakeside gazebo that affords arresting blue views of Lake Canoe and the golf course. It also includes an extensive walkway for the newlyweds and wedding party to make a memorable entrance.

Receptions can be held in the lakeside ballroom, which likewise affords unmatched views of the lake and surrounding greenery. This ballroom, with a maximum capacity of up to 200 guests, features elegant chandeliers, a vaulted ceiling, and a built-in dance floor.

The view of Lake Canoe is also available in the country club’s dining facilities. Additionally, the top deck of the club house overlooks the entire course for an unparalleled vista that includes the trees, course, and lake.

The April Sound Country Club’s amenities include a swimming pool, dining facilities with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, a high-quality fitness center, and a children’s camp. Amazingly beautiful. Kristen did an amazing job. Food was tops. We even asked for some changes from their menu, then had no problems at all. We used our own centerpieces, they set them up with no problems.

April Sound Country Club was a GORGEOUS venue for my daughter's wedding. From the very start, Carol Wright worked tirelessly to accommodate all of our requests. She had a quick response time, and she had many great ideas to help us along the way as we planned the wedding.

We'd originally planned to have the wedding ceremony at the gazebo by the lake at the country club and the reception dinner in the Waterfront dining room with dancing to follow on the patio. Thankfully, Carol had back-up plans should the weather go awry, which certainly happened when the storms moved in. But it all turned out even better than we could have ever imagined! Carol and her team of experts set up the ceremony in the Waterfront dining room, and once the ceremony was over, they seamlessly removed the chairs used during the ceremony and moved in the dance floor. It was like magic!

For the reception dinner, the bride and groom chose Macadamia Crusted Chicken with lemon butter sauce and haricots verts served with the stacked mozzarella and tomato salad. It was a hit with all the guests! The food was scrumptious. The service provided by Joey's team of servers was awesome! They even provided cake-cutting services, which really came in handy.

The venue provided some decorative elements for the event, and they were: white garden chairs for the ceremony, lanterns and hooks that were used during the ceremony, gorgeous linens for the reception, and flameless candles in glass hurricane globes for the dining tables during the reception. We placed blue rose petals in each hurricane globe. It was lovely! You'll be able to see some of our pictures on the April Sound Country Club Facebook page soon.

If you are looking for a beautiful venue for your wedding at an excellent price and quality, then do yourself a favor and take a tour of April Sound Country Club and meet Carol Wright. I promise, you won't be disappointed! My daughter's wedding was a fairy tale wedding!

April Sound Country Club is a hidden gem for special events. My daughter's wedding was flawless. The event planner, (Alex Den) is a marvel. She was able to make the whole day flow smoothly. There was nothing she couldn't handle. There were literally family from coast to coast and everyone was pleased and happy especially the Bride and Groom. The staff at April sound all are wonderful and professional. Jean made sure the dinner and reception was without any hesitations. There were so many complements from family and friends. We would like to thank and recommend all at April Sound for making our special day memorable

If you plan on having your wedding here, it will be as stress-free as possible. Victoria will help you plan everything, I mean everything. She is like the "wedding whisperer"!! She has great ideas and will know the answer to any question you can think of. Victoria has a never ending bag of tricks that will make your wedding unique, special, and one that is talked about for a long time. Your good fortune does not stop there; along with Victoria, there is Alex. Alex will make sure that everything you planned, thought about, or imagined will happen. I think that she is psychic. Before a thought fully forms, Alex has already taken care of it. You think it, it happens! With the dynamic duo, how could you possibly go wrong. Make it easy on yourself, have your wedding at April Sound. Oh yeah, and the food was great. View was breathtaking.

The wedding we hosted at April Sound Country Club couldn't have been better. The wait/event staff was extremely helpful and diligent. Victoria was great help planning and coordinating before and during the wedding. The price was reasonable and many people commented on how delicious the food was. We would definitely recommend this venue to others and would love to personally use it again in the future.

The customer service at this venue was a big reason we chose this location. It also has gorgeous views of Lake Conroe and the guests can come early and play golf. The food was delicious as was the DJ we had. The value was terrific and we definitely suggest this venue.
