We couldn’t have chosen a better venue, every staff member was welcoming, kind and ready to help, we felt at ease with them around, it was evident that all they wanted was to help us and our guests feel comfortable and happy.
The place was clean and accommodating.
We had two main spots were we celebrated our wedding and they moved us and all of our guests in golf carts from point a to b, all of this with smiles and kindness.
Food and drinks were delicious, it ain’t easy to please that many people but they definitely succeeded!

Our wedding reception was perfect thanks to Golf Club of Houston.
We wanted an open/outdoor venue feel for our February Wedding. Golf Club of Houston banquet hall is surrounded by windows with beautiful views of the sunset by the golf gardens which differentiates them from the traditional enclosed venues. Great natural light illuminates the room which later turned to warm intimate lighting for the evening. Beautiful and elegant décor! Flexible floor plan with tables for our sit-down dinner, a central dancing floor, cocktail hour area by the bar with high tables and terrace for a drink outdoors too. We had it all! Best value of all other venues we visited.
Gorgeous spots for outdoor pictures to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds were the cherry on top! 
The service was great, everything was better than we expected. They took care of every detail so we didn’t have to worry about anything and everything was on time. 
The food was exquisite and unique.
They were very flexible to every request we had. From picking a date going back and forth to select a day that worked with our church and their availability, to allowing us to use their main club hallway furniture so we could decorate from the main entrance all the way to the banquet hall (This was nice because it made the space feel more personalized and intimate with our touches and picture displays). We also wanted to take pictures in our motorcycles and they allowed us to bring the motorcycles to their main terrace. And best of all, we were not limited in time to end the party... We truly enjoyed ourselves all the way to sparklers outside to end the evening.

But the best part of Golf Club of Houston was the Responsiveness, Professionalism and Tenderness of Liz Strong, the event director, who felt more like a fairy godmother on the best day of our life. She went above and beyond to help us, grant our wishes and do whatever she could to facilitate everything for us, including holding my veil and throwing it in the air so we could have one of the best pictures of our wedding simulating an action shot of us “riding” my husband’s motorcycle!
Thinking of Golf Club of Houston makes me sigh and brings smiles to my face remembering how they helped us to have a perfect wedding day!

The golf club of Houston was the perfect choice for our wedding. We dealt with two main persons, Liz and Valerie, and they were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. Due to covid-19 we had to change the date of out wedding and they made this transition without a hitch. What stood out to us was how much the venue rental price included. The only extra we needed to think about was a bar package. The food was delicious and our guests are still commenting on how good it was! The day of coordinator, was organized and really went the extra mile on the day of by delivering some forgotten rings to us! We were able to enjoy the day because we knew everything was taken care of. There was a private locker room that the bridal party could get ready in and we had access to golf carts to take pictures on the course. Other venues pricing reflects a strict 4-hour time limit, however we were able to be flexible with the time at the golf club with our reception running from 4pm to 10pm. This really allowed us, as the bride and groom, to relax and enjoy the party once all the formalities were completed.
All in all we would highly recommend the Golf Club of Houston as a wedding venue.
