Martina was the best to work while planning for our reception and the day of the event. The Downtown Club was very accommodating with each of our requests and the food was amazing. Everything ran very smooth and was a perfect night.

The Downtown Club was the perfect place for our wedding ceremony and reception. Angela and Jason were awesome and meticulous. They made me and my party feel very special. Johnny, our personal server, was fantastic! Always on it with a smile and a great sense of humor. I hope to be able to have another event there sometime.

We could not have asked for a better reception venue! All of our guests were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the amazing view of Houston. The food was some of the best we've ever had, and not just compared to wedding food, it was all just perfection. The staff was responsive and did everything they could to make sure us and our guests were taken care of all night. Last but not least, Jason, the event manager was the BEST to work with through the whole planning process. And he even wore a tie that matched our wedding colors to the reception, he is just that great with every little detail. I'd recommend this place to everyone!

The Houston Downtown Club at Plaza was the PERFECT place for us to have our Reception! It is gorgeous and classy! The Reception Hall was located on the 49th Floor and it overlooked Houston's downtown! Free decorations such as candles, candle-labras, and hurricanes are included in the price. The food was excellent! In fact, we recieved compliments all night long on how great the food was! The Quality of service was exceptional! The people who worked there were extremely helpful and always responsive! I LOVEd it!

Perfect location for reception. Our guests were given the red carpet treatment with hor d'oevures and cocktails waiting for them the second they stepped off the elevator. And the staff made sure that the bride and groom were taken care of all night. They even had some food waiting for us before we were announced to our guests. They really thought ahead since we didn't get to eat a bite as soon as we stepped out into the reception. The coordinator kept everything moving along seamlessly and the room was beautiful.

The Downtown Club is a great venue for a wedding reception. The people that work there are very cooperative, responsive, and flexible. The food was amazing and everything went so smoothly. It was everything was wanted!

We absolutely loved our wedding Reception here at the Plaza Club. The views are un-comparable and the facility is top notch!

Unfortunately the in-house event coordinator we had was extremely difficult to work with. She was hard to get in touch with (via phone or email) and was not very easy to work with when it came to making changes. It seemed we were getting nickel and dimed when we wanted to add things as well.
Thank goodness for our wedding planner though! With the help of her and her assistants we had the most perfect wedding and reception we could have ever imagined! I would absolutely recommend this location to someone else in the future, but I would just warn them to make sure you like who you are working with.
It is a gorgeous venue, gorgeous location and the rest of the staff is just wonderful. On your wedding night you have a personal waiter, so you do not go hungry and you are sure to always have a drink in your hand. Our guests, families and ourselves were extremely pleased!!
