Elma is extremely understanding and flexible. She works with everyone's budget.I told her how I attempted the "diy letterpress at home" and failed horribly. I had all the paper/plates and wanted someone to print my work. I was actually devastated and tired of looking around for someone to print out my invitations and there was Elma. I first sent her an email and then we talked on the phone and boom the deal was done. I liked her the moment i talked to her. She works quickly. It only took a few weeks for me to receive my invitations. I had lots of paper left over so I want her to do another job for me.......my menus!

Elma was simply amazing at helping me create my invitation suite. If you're looking for invitations that have the hand crafted and elegant feel, SLP is the place to go! I loved how my invitations turned out and I just couldn't have asked for a better person to work with than Elma!

Simply Letterpressed and my experience with Elma was just perfect. I travel very frequently and had a very tight timeline to complete the letterpressed invitations since I was leaving the country to live with my fiancé. Elma certainly delivered with complete professionalism and my French printed invitations came out beautifully and a few days earlier than what I was expecting! Every email was answered quickly and she always got back to me whenever I had any questions. She made this my favorite part of the whole wedding planning and I wish I could have several invitations!

Simply Letterpressed created the most exquisite set of custom wedding stationary. Not only did the final product totally exceed my expectations, but also the customer service. I think I must have told Elma "thank you" a million times. From the first email when I found out she could do the project in my project in my budget to the very last email when I thanked her for such beautiful invitations and wonderful service. I wasn't sure I could afford letterpress but she made it happen and she even worked with me on a design I had started and added her professional designer's touch. The result was perfect. Elma at Simply Letterpressed is SIMPLY WONDERFUL. I have never worked with a more friendly, professional, responsive, and patient person! On the first pass, Elma captured the design style we were looking for, and we only had minor adjustments along the way, which made it sooooo easy! I was expecting to go back and forth on the main design, but nope - she nailed it right away. On top of that, if you email Elma, she'll email you back within the hour in most cases - who does that anywhere?? She was so gracious and accommodating with me during my control freak moments, and by the end of it, I honestly felt like I had made a good friend. I'm looking for an excuse to use letterpress again just because of her! If you are reading this review looking for letterpress invitations - stop looking, and just email Elma, you won't be sorry. The compliments on my invitations are just pouring in!

I could not possibly give a higher recommendation! Elma is truly what every bride dreams to work with! They say the invitations are your guests first impression of what your wedding will be like, so get them the way you want. As brides we like to change our minds, go back and forth, add and delete, etc. I felt horrible each time I wrote an e-mail asking for something, which was always followed by an instant reply assuring me that this is what it's all about and we need to get things "perfect." Elma had amazing suggestions and knew exactly what I was looking for without really even knowing myself. Our STD's were better than we even imagined. Now Elma is doing all the stationary for our entire wedding!!

I had been shopping around on Etsy for invites for our 1920's inspired but not themed wedding for months. I was buying sample after sample and just wasn't finding what I was looking for. Just when I was about to give up and order something I wasn't in love with I found Elma. Simply Letterpressed was exactly what I had been searching for. She custom designed our invites which I didn't even know was possible in our $1000 budget. Luckily we didn't live too far from each other and were able to meet and discuss what I was looking for. Elma from SLP is amazing. We had some ideas of what we wanted our invitation to look like. Elma took our ideas and created a masterpiece. She is very professional, creative, very responsive, and easy to work with. She emailed us back almost right away. Even though we live in New York, and she works from California, she was able to custom-design (we went through several proofs) our invitations and get them to us in perfect shape and on time! I wanted something different from what people were doing in Perth, Western Australia for my wedding. I researched what people used to do long before scrapbooking, or printing invites on computers and we came across some postcard type invites. We then came across Elma's telegram invites, and were struck by them being letterpressed. Wow, fancy, unique and no one else we knew had, had that! We had to have it!! Getting in touch with Elma was easy, and there was no dramas with her being in the US and me being in Australia. We maintained regular contact via email and I was able to proof designs as she went. I got in touch with some Australian businesses who do letterpressing and they were very dear in comparison to Elma's prices, including exchange rates. We have got everything we need for less. The invites went out in September and we have received a lot of compliments on them; primarily because no one we know has seen anything like it. They have set the tone for the event to be formal and old fashioned. We cant wait for the big day!!
