We met Meagan at The Wedding Salon and instantly liked her!! She's kind, professional and extremely competent. My husband and I were so impressed by her warm personality and her creative ideas. Their display at the show was by far the most impressive-- A HUGE TREE!!-- and I thought for sure they would just tell me this was for the show, so it's "editorial" and could not be duplicated for my wedding. (I heard that before with florists at previous wedding shows- Big Apple and one other) We made an appointment, discussed the details wit Shawn himself (equally as fantastic and friendly!!) and signed our contract one week later! They were by far the best at EVERYTHING!! PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY, AND FRIENDLY! LOVED EVERY ASPECT OF WORKING WITH THEM!!!!!!!!! They even created a sample for me before the wedding to come in and view. We saw our design from their store window and instantly I cried. I have never been so happy. They accomplished everything I dreamed of, totally interpreted my vision, and remained friendly and sincere throughout the entire process. All the staff at Shawn Rabideau Design communicate well and are beyond the most well-oiled machine in the design business. They went way out of their way to make us happy. They even got us tickets to be guests on THE VIEW'S WEDDING SPECIAL!!!! They are wonderful to work with-- Customer service is so important to me, and by far this business tops them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could say that Shawn did an amazing job on my wedding day, but unfortunately, he wasn't there because he dropped me as a client (both as a planner and as my floral designer!) 6 weeks before my wedding. Initially, he told me that it was because he didn't feel comfortable completing the job because of my modest budget (which hadn't changed from the day we met a year and a half before), but then I discovered that it was in order to do a celebrity wedding instead that he obviously felt was more important to him.

Thankfully, being a producer and having already been very hands on in my planning anyway, my actual wedding didn't suffer, in fact, my other vendors stepped up and things went very smoothly. However, his abrupt abandonment and the subsequent last minute stress it caused (finding a new florist at the last minute, etc.) left me beyond disappointed. I will however give him credit for bowing out before my final payment to him was due and for providing some follow through assistance for two of my vendors.

Your wedding is a very special, once in a lifetime event, and entrusting someone else to help you make your vision a reality is no small thing. I can't begrudge anyone for their ambitions. However, after over a year of working with Shawn, to have him just walk away weeks before the biggest day of my life was at best unprofessional, at worst, nothing short of a betrayal of trust and of a friendship that I thought we had developed during the process.

I would caution those brides who might also have modest budgets to stay away from this particular vendor for fear he might also forsake you for a more "glamorous" clientele. However, if you're famous or someone who has big bucks, I guess you'll be less in danger from this particular issue. Good Luck!

Shawn was an absolute pleasure to work with. His designs were gorgeous, beyond my imagination, and he was so easy, friendly and cooperative every step of the way. I had no worries whatsoever, and just let Shawn do what he does best. People at the wedding cant stop talking about the gorgeous centerpieces and table designs.

I had a wonderful experience working with Shawn and Michael. The flowers and decor were beyond perfect. After our first meeting I was so relieved to have found a team that was professional, personable and most of all I felt 100% confident that my wedding would look fantastic, and it did!

Shawn was very professional and has an amazing sense of calmness around him. I would be stressed out and after talking to him would feel 100% better. He has a great eye for decor and style and was sensitive to my budget.

Shawn did an incredible job on our floral arrangements for our wedding day. He is not just about flowers but more importantly about floral design. Adding a bunch of flowers to a room will make it look just fine and average. It's how Shawn designs the flowers and thinks about how it integrates with a room that puts him above his competitors and adds the "wow" factor that everyone wants at their event. He has an incredible vision and just a great eye for what looks great together. Shawn is very responsive, professional and easy to work with.
