As a native of Arizona, I thought it would be easy to find a venue for our wedding. My only request to my wife with planning the wedding was that I had a say in the venue. She’s more contemporary and I’m more traditional….not the easiest to compromise at times. We live in the North Valley, so we didn’t want to get married too far from home. We looked at venues in North Phoenix, Scottsdale, Central Phoenix, etc. Our guest list was around 130 and we had a lot of items on wish list when it came to a venue. We looked at places like the Pointe at the Cliffs, Marriot in Scottsdale, Sanctuary on Camelback, Phoenix Art Museum, and so on. I personally didn’t realize how expensive venues/weddings were going into this. However, once we saw Sassi, we were hooked. It was beautiful and had a nice mix of contemporary/traditionalism. I knew after seeing it, why it’s always voted the number one wedding venue in AZ. Oh yeah….the food is amazing too. What really made our day perfect were our two wedding coordinators, Bernice Hertzfeldt and Lavi Hill. They were so meticulous and organized when it came to planning our wedding. Prior to the wedding planning, I was completely oblivious and inexperienced in all that was involved. However, they made us feel extremely comfortable and walked us through the whole process. On the day of, they were by our sides all day with a third shadow, Emily. She was amazing as well! I also had a few last minutes requests in which they catered to. After the wedding, my wife and I couldn’t think of any negatives from our wedding. Everything was perfect….and I’m not the easiest to please. From the ceremony, to the food, to the view, to the banquet room, to the staff, to the overall experience, we couldn’t be happier. Hands down, compared to all of the other venues in AZ in its price range, Sassi Scottsdale will be the best venue you look at! We look forward to spending our anniversaries dining there in the years to come!

Sassi was absolutely amazing! When I walked in on the day of my wedding and saw everything put together, I was ready to cry. It far exceeded anything that I hoped for and was breathtaking. Bernice and Lavi did a wonderful job putting everything together and making a day to always remember. You couldn't get a better location than this in Phoenix. It didn't feel that we were in the desert, beyond the spectacular views of Pinnacle Peak Mountain. You definitely had that romantic Tuscan feel. The food and service was incredible as well. My husband and I had a dedicated server just for us throughout the night...I cannot tell you how helpful this was! She was great and even help with getting my dress just right for the photographer. All our guests were impressed by the level of service and the food. And after being in the restaurant industry for over 15 years (as well as a majority of our guests) that was quite impressive. I will be back to Sassi, even if it is just for dinner!

Sassi is simply the best wedding venue in AZ for small or medium sized weddings (110 guests or less). The grounds are absolutely stunning with much detail around every corner. Everything from the bathrooms to the couryard, to the very grand ceremony entrance. Sassi is very reasonably priced and well worth every penny. Bernice and Lavi were amazing as well as our shadow. If I could do it over again it would still take place at sassi!

Beautiful venue! They are so organized and take care of everything. The day was stressfree.

Our wedding was the wedding of my dreams!!!! Bernice and Lavi at Sassi in Scottsdale, AZ were AMAZING!!!! Our wedding was a destination wedding with guest coming from outside the US and within the US which could have been completely stressful but with the staff at Sassi all the stress was removed due to the fact they KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! All our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how the food was the best they have ever had. The price was exactly where we wanted to be and everyone we spoke to thought we had spent well over $60,000 for our day...which we have kept as our little secret that we didn't :) If you are looking for a beautiful venue, out of this world food, a staff that knows exactly what they are doing and to have no stress on one of the most important days of your life then I would recommend you pick Sassi as your wedding venue.

They got the meal wrong, severed my Mom something they knew she was allergic to. They added flowers to my cake when there was to be none. They promised me a dance floor, then my husband had to find it. They changed our entrance location the day of the wedding. They rushed my photographer!! To the point he wasn't able to get some photos. They are impossible to get a hold of. The location is beautiful, but I'd say get a wedding planner to handle them and make sure everything is smooth. The people you deal with don't even stay for the evening they just greet you.

Our wedding was at SASSI the last weekend of July. We live in Northern Virginia near DC. Scottsdale was pretty hot, but the staff at SASSI went out of their way to attend to our needs and those of our guests, and everyone was impressed with the service and the beauty of the location. We initially chose this location based on the food, which was excellent. (I hate bad wedding food!) Upon visiting the site, I could not get over how beautiful it was and how easy it was to have a ceremony there. They helped us with a vendor list, ceremony flow, set up and take down. It could not have been easier or more perfect. The price, especially compared to the DC area, was an amazing value. I wish them nothing but success for many years to come and highly recommend them to any other couple.

Bernice & Lavi worked with me every step of the way ... right up until sending me down the aisle! Everything was spectacular. The grounds are charming, the restaurant is superb and the staff was always on top of everything!

Sassi has the perfect location for a small-medium size ceremony. We truly enjoyed the quality of service from their staff.

Words can not describe how wonderful Sassi was. The venue was beautiful, the food was great, the staff was an A +. Sassi's staff really took care of us. They provided a "shadow" for me. Anything that I need they provided for me. We are going back on our one year aniversary. I absoultely loved Sassi.

From the moment we visited Sassi we knew it was the place we wanted to get married at! Sassi caters to a smaller, initmate wedding vibe-which is exactly what we wanted. Additionally, the food was EXCEPTIONAL-we still get compliments on it. Everything was perfect and the staff was tremendous. We loved the personal attendant assigned to us after the ceremony-just classy all around.
