Debbie was amazing!! She helped every step of the way. She was quick to respond and accommodate. She helped us add a COVID addendum to our contract, then gave a full refund when we had to pull the plug on our big day. She was so understanding which we appreciated. This venue has everything and is so affordable for what you get. The courtyard is the perfect space and ambiance with the bistro lights. We loved the fact that the buffet could be covered. They provided tables, chairs, a bar, and staff members for the night. We also loved the front area, before the main doors. It is such a large space that overlooks Papago - perfect area to set up cornhole, tall boy tables, and host your cocktail hour. We also loved that the venue included in the total cost was free parking for guests, indoor restrooms, the option to move inside if need be, a conference room to hold our stuff and get ready in, and letting guests wander the exhibits all night. It's in a perfect location, right in the heart of Papago Park and just steps away from the most beutiful, scenic, desert landscape for photos. And there is so much to do in Tempe for your out of town guests! Right across from the Zoo, ASU campus, and golf course. Lots of nearby hotels and Uber everywhere. We will definitely be recommending this event space to all our friends and family for their weddings!

I can not rave about this place enough! 1st it saved us sooo much $ but you would have never really known because it was so beautiful and we hired such good people! 2nd the food was absolutely AMAZING!!!! People couldn't get enough of it. 3rd Tamara was very attentive and helped out a lot she was awesome! I have had so many guests tell me that was the most fun wedding they have ever been too. If you are laid back and want to have fun this IS the place for you.

First - what a great back ground for a corporate venue - among the fabulous art!! Second the staff. Cori & Sara were a pleasure to work with. They were able to provide information in a timely manner and the site was a good price value. On the day of the event, Sara was there with me making sure we had everything we needed. We actually had some last minute needs and the folks there were happy to adjust and help us out. Seriously, the nicest, most helpful people I have worked with at an event. Everyone had a smile for even my most stressful moments and offered solutions with grace.

The museum is beautifully kept and has a variety of options for ceremony and reception spaces.

Beautiful grounds, reasonable prices and top notch staff!

We had a rocky start with the venue because they had some staffing changes. Once they got a someone in their coordinator position it was great. They helped us plan the details and used their prior knowledge of weddings to plan an awesome night. The venue was perfect, we had the ceremony in the Planetarium which was unique and our guests loved how it turned out.

We just had our company Holiday Party here for almost 100 guests (about 20 kids). We rented the first floor and it was the perfect size for our group. All of the kids loved playing with the exhibits and climbing the huge structure. The adults enjoyed climbing with the kids and mingling among the tables. The venue coordinator, Alex, made the whole reservation and setup process very easy. The communication was great and I knew exactly what to expect. He and his team were like party ninjas! They were discreet during the event, and yet right there whenever needed. I also received a lot of positive feedback about the food, which is provided through an exclusive contract with Spoonz Catering. The owner, Garry, was super helpful with picking out the menu and coordinating the bar. Overall, we really enjoyed having our event here, and can't wait to have another in the future.

This is a wonderful alternative to the typical wedding venues! Because it is typically an art gallery and photography studio, they have gorgeous brick walls and polished concrete floors with incredible lighting that you can adjust. There is also a glass garage door, which lets in a lot natural light depending on the time of day. They have a wired speaker system throughout; while we didn't use the in-house system, I have been to other events here and it sounds good! The venue rental fee is incredibly affordable, but be warned that this venue is for the bride who has the time and patience to plan everything out (or has a coordinator), as it is just a blank space. My partner and I were looking for exactly that, so we were OK with having many different vendors, renting *everything*, and coordinating everything ourselves. You will need to set up and tear down all on the day of your wedding, so be sure to keep that in mind as well. I also have to give a shoutout to the owners, especially Randy, who was so wonderful in helping us coordinate everything, letting us meet with vendors multiple times at the venue before the wedding, and giving us a lot of tips and tricks. Through all of my interactions with him, Randy even became a friend! I'm not sure everyone can say that :) If you're looking for a unique, industrial-looking venue that you can make all your own, I highly recommend going with Randy and the team at Legend City Studios!

This venue was amazing! We had our wedding at sunset with a beautiful view of the Superstition Mountains. We took a carriage ride around the property with photos. It was just amazing!!!

We knew that we wanted to get married at the MIM as soon as we were engaged! The MIM was so great to work with. All of the staff and coordinators were easy to communicate with and they were very accommodating! Of course the wedding ending up costing a bit more than we planned on but we were really ok with that. They provided us everything we needed from seating, lighting, dinner, food service and bar service. You do have to put up all your own decor such as flowers, centerpieces and LED candles (flame candles are not allowed). They also offer some great package options and we picked the one that allowed two exhibits to remain open for the guests! We had numerous people tell us it was the best wedding they have been too!
