I’m so happy I chose the Ashley Castle as our venue! Half our guests were from the east coast and they said they thought everything was beautiful inside and outside. I appreciate the monthly food tastings they offer as well as all the meetings to help organize everything we dreamt of! I didn’t know venues can be all inclusive until I saw what The Ashley Castle offered. I LOVE that they have their own DJ, florist, catering, and venue coordinator! Everything about my April 12th wedding was perfect! I felt like a princess! Highly recommend this venue, especially for those who are coming from out of town: TONS of hotel options around the venue and a mall! 10000/10!!

From the beginning, The Castle staff were amazing; very supportive & informative. The price was perfect, just like the venue (a princess turned into a Queen that day in the castle)! The Ashley Castle helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Casey was our wedding coordinator and she made the entire planning process seamless. She made sure to listen to our vision and execute it flawlessly. Their communication is great, the services and vendors they offer with their venue are incredible, the food was delicious, and I could keep going with how wonderful they were. Not to mention, the venue is stunning! Would highly recommend having your special day at this venue and working with this great team.

The venue it absolutely beautiful the staff are the best! I highly recommend booking The Ashley Castle for your event. From the very first meeting we were greeted with kindness and they worked hard to create our dream wedding. Every inspiration photo I had was taken into account and by the end of each meeting we were one step closer to having a wedding that was uniquely my husband and I. The staff are great communicators, any time I had a question I received an answer quickly. The food, DJ, flowers, and bar service was amazing and our guests had nothing but complements about the service. Thank you to The Ashley Castle for helping us create a day we will never forget!

The Ashley Castle was the perfect venue for us. Not only is it beautiful, but the staff is incredible from their caterers, florists, and venue coordinator to their DJ and photobooth.* It is also a good central location that is conveniently near the freeway for many of our guests in town and close by to hotels for out-of-town guests.


Coordinator: They have a team of venue coordinators, and we had the utmost pleasure working with Casey Cleary. Since the beginning, she has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Casey and I had ongoing long chains of emails where I sent her several numbered lists of questions, and she would always respond to each of them in a timely manner, welcoming any and all questions thereafter (of which there were many!). With her expert experience, she had helpful suggestions.

There was a brief moment when I wondered if we would need a day-of or month-of coordinator to help finalize and set up decor for the wedding, but Casey reassured my husband and me that it was not needed and that she and her team would take care of everything. Casey had the welcome table and reception set up before our wedding party arrived for the day! Casey also printed additional labels for me for the buffet and extra desserts.

I cannot emphasize just how helpful and kind Casey is. A few days before the wedding, we switched to texting, and she surprisingly (but not surprising at the same time because of how wonderful she is) responded to me after business hours when I didn’t expect her to at all! Casey was not feeling well the day of our wedding — which she did not reveal to us until she left at the beginning of cocktail hour — but told me and the rest of her team that she wanted to be there for my husband and me especially. I would give Casey an infinity out of five and miss chatting with her.


The space: We had a large wedding with 225 guests, and the ceremony and reception areas never felt crowded. The back garden area is beautiful, and I have to mention the desert scenery behind the castle. We captured beautiful golden hour photos back there. The ballroom for the reception certainly felt grand and like a true fairytale.


Florist: We originally had a different florist who was lovely but left to pursue other opportunities. When we were supposed to have our final floral meeting, we were then reassigned to Laura who is married to the owner of the Ashley Castle and has many years of experience being a florist. She called me and reassured me of her experience and that we would have more time to finalize our options, even setting up a time to meet in person to go over everything before we had some final email discussions. Laura was very kind and supportive and answered all our questions about flowers. We opted to use our own centerpiece vases, and the bouquets and centerpieces she designed for us were absolutely beautiful! I can be a control freak, so I was a little nervous about not seeing a “mock” bouquet, but I trusted in Laura and her team, and they knocked it out of the park. She and her team also helped drape our ceremony arch and their “gazebo” with panels and faux florals we brought in.


DJ: Jeff is experienced and friendly. He made a point of asking if there were any traditions or details to be aware of. He was a great DJ and was willing to play whatever music we would like and gave suggestions on the wedding timeline. Personally, I would have changed the order of some things after having had our wedding now, but that is just hindsight and nothing to do with Jeff. He also offers sparklers, but we ended up providing our own.


Catering: We went to all three open tastings and had a clear idea on what food we wanted. We didn’t make special requests in time, but The Ashley Castle is open to making alterations for the tastings. We had a handful of guests with dietary restrictions, and The Ashley Castle happily accommodated variations of the primary menu. What we (and my mom especially) liked about The Ashley Castle is that they were open to making a recipe per your request (though we opted not to do this) and accepting outside catering. My family and I ordered hors d'oeuvres and extra dinner entrees from a few of our favorite restaurants. Our guests loved all the food and the buffet options!


Dessert: Piece of Cake is the baker included in the package, and they were fantastic! We special ordered additional cupcakes for our vegan and gluten-free guests, and Piece of Cake was very nice and accommodating when discussing options for the cupcakes and our amazing wedding cake itself.


Con: A minor obstacle we encountered was miscommunication between my husband and me and one of the other coordinators due to the shared email The Ashley Castle team has. There were only three times when things got a little confusing. Once in the beginning when we had a tentative hold on our wedding date and were told by another coordinator it was taken — she didn’t realize it was reserved for us. A second time when we were planning our wedding rehearsal while Casey was out of the office and we were told it had to take place Thursday instead of Friday (the day before our Saturday wedding). Lastly, Casey was out of the office again, and some wires got crossed, but it was quickly remedied after we got back in touch with Casey. All in all, nothing too major, but that would be my main criticism.


*The photobooth is an extra expense, and we were happy with their service. The Ashley Castle photobooth was the cheapest option we found, and we liked the natural backdrop of the castle tower — although they offered many backgrounds. We used their props and brought in some of our own as well. My name was initially misspelled on their menu screen, but they corrected it when I pointed it out. They provided template options, but we chose to create one ourselves, which Becca and Cody tested to make sure it printed nicely.


If you are thinking of booking The Ashley Castle, I would highly recommend you do it — and fast!

Where can I even start! It wouldn't be fair to only give The Ashley Castle 5 stars because they deserve way more!! This venue has been hosting weddings for the past 28 years and let me tell you, you can tell that they are the most experienced and well organized venue in all of Arizona. These guys host hundreds of weddings a year and the best part, it truly feels like all their focus is on you; it felt like we were the only ones getting married there! The food was DELICIOUS, the decor was BEAUTIFUL and the staff, ROCKSTARS! I can't thank you all enough for the most perfect day. Our guests have been raving about the wedding and have expressed that this has been one of the most beautiful weddings they have been to! Also shout out to Casey, our amazing coordinator for bringing it all together. She is truly a gem! This was the best day of our lives and I owe it mostly to our team at The Ashley Castle! I 1000000% recommend these guys and I wouldn't have had my wedding any other way! God Bless you guys!!!!!

This venue was awesome. Beautiful setting, food was awesome, friendly and efficient staff. Anyone looking for a wedding venue I would highly recommending checking out this place.

I cannot say enough good things about the Ashley Castle. They made everything from planning to preparation to wedding day perfect. I love that it’s an all inclusive venue. And the vendors they work with were all phenomenal! It ended up raining on our wedding day and the ceremony had to be moved inside. Guests never even knew there had been a change. I’m sure it was chaos behind the scenes, but neither my wedding party or the guests felt any of the stress. They delivered on even the smallest details. I made little activity bags for the kids and expected that they would be set out on a table somewhere. Instead, my coordinator walked around during dinner service and handed them out to all the children! The food was amazing, the decorations beautiful and the fireworks made for the most beautiful and memorable first dance. I cannot recommend The Ashley Castle and their team highly enough.

We had our wedding at The Ashley Castle, and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was so kind and caring to us, and the planning process was not too stressful because so much was done through the venue. The venue is so elegant and makes for a magical wedding. We appreciate everything that the staff did for us to make our event extra special. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more! Thank you!
