The value for Mel's services is amazing, you get more for your money than you would with anyone else. Also, if your timing is tight you can't do better, she can get things done in almost any time frame and work with almost any schedule.

I have so much to say about Melinda and her work ethic!!!
She was more than helpful with scheduling my engagement, bridal and wedding photos!
She had so many options available!!!
Melinda offered the option of extra photographers for extra detail pictures and more general pictures taken!
She has the ability to take a "normal/everyday" photo and turn it into something unique and beautiful!
I just got my wedding photos for viewing today and they are SPECTACULAR!!!
Melinda offered special help with editing of photos... especially some special chin cover-ups.
I have been more than pleased with the pictures Melinda and her extra photographers took before, during and after our wedding!
I am so appreciative!!!
I suggest you use Other Than Roses Photography!!!
She will do ALL she can to make you happy with your photography sessions!

I wouldn't recommend any other photographer after working with Melinda. She was refered to me by a mutal friend who was going to photograph our wedding but would have been 6 months pregnant and decided she couldn't be on her feet that much. So Melinda and I met to discuss what she did and what I wanted. We hit it off right away. Melinda was professional, she had samples of her work, she listened to what photos I had in mind and made suggestions that I had not considered. Originally I was just going to have her photograph the wedding but ended up getting bridals and engagment photos through her as well.
Melinda was always on time, accomodating and willing to help out at the wedding by helping me carry the grooms gift into the church before the wedding. She even got items out of my bags to help my hair dresser. Melinda became part of our group.
Through the photo sessions she directed me to give her the best poses that would flatter my full figure and make the best pictures. She made me feel comfortable in front of her camera, made me smile and laugh.
Through the wedding she let me peak at a few pictures that I can't wait to see.
Her photo edits were professional and well done.
Gotta love Melinda.
I need another event so I can hire her again!

Mel was very proffessional, she held it together when all was about to go out the window. She was very helpful and the photographs turned out beautiful.Her follow-up after the wedding was very helpful, it allowed us to create a photo album unique to our personalities.The whole experience was a great one!

Mel is a wonderful photographer. I had one week to plan my wedding, and she was there to help! I had met her once before, and she was an amazing help. She made my dream beach wedding come true! She captured the most amazing photo's and my husband and I are VERY pleased!
