I must admit, I have a very electic taste in music. I am so happy to have found a DJ / artist like Wayne to turn my ideas into a reality. We had such a good time going over the final details with Wayne, we could have hung out and drank coffee with him all day! Wayne even shared that I had introduced he and Alice to a few songs they hadn't known about, but now will have in his repertoire (you're welcome!). I was an older bride at 40, so I had a major wide demographic to please. Wayne's performance on the piano during dinner was very appealing to all, but especially my parent's friends. Wayne really knew how to read the crowd. We were going to play the shoe game, but he subtley came over to our sweetheart table and observed that people were dancing and having a good time, it wouldn't be the best idea to make everyone sit down while we played a game. Wayne and Alice DeLair are a fabulous team! Hire them!

We were highly impressed with Wayne and his DJ services. He was thorough, responsive, accommodating to our needs, and very professional. My single complaint (and it's a small one) was their expectations from us. As all us brides know, our time is stretched very thin before the wedding, and at times they could be a bit demanding of their own deadlines and information requested. Overall though, he did a great job and we would certainly use him again!

We were so impressed with Wayne as our DJ for our wedding. He was friendly, helpful and a wonderful DJ and emcee for our reception. He played our requests (time permitting) and stayed on track with the outline he had provided us with the week prior to the wedding. Many of our guests commented that he was the best DJ they had seen at a wedding. He has a gentle voice (not annoying and blaring) but is able to get the attention of the guests with no problem. He knew when to pump things up, and when to slow them down. His wife Alice does all of the paperwork and is just as amazing as Wayne. She was so prompt in responding to any questions or concerns I had throughout the planning process. I would HIGHLY recommend Wayne for your event, and would not hesitate to use him again for any future events I may plan!

Wayne and his wife Alice of DeLair Entertainment made it easy for us to choose them after only one phone call. Once we made that excellent decision, they guided us through the process of choosing music for a great ceremony and reception. They began to feel like friends after they invited us to their home more than once! When our wedding day came, an unexpected windstorm forced us inside, and Wayne adapted so easily. Imagine having to move hundreds of pounds of stereo equipment and lights by yourself, while still keeping the party going...well he did it! Many of our guests didn't even realize the reception was supposed to be outside because of how seamlessly the transition went. Wayne is a true professional; he is THE BEST without a doubt. We know our wedding was so much fun because of him and we recommend him to anyone!

Both Wayne and Alice DeLair are incredibly professional and easy to work with. Their attention to detail, professionalism and extensive experience with music made our wedding go smoothly. Wayne put a lot of time in making sure our music was correct and making sure he knew exactly what to say and when to say it. He made it such that we did not have to think or worry about the flow of events on our wedding day. Wayne honored our song requests, but also played great music to keep people on the dance floor the whole time. I would highly recommend DeLair Entertainment, and should I have another event in Sarasota, FL, I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Every aspect from the planning to the execution of our event was beyond our expectations. We planned our wedding long distance from Chicago and Alice made us immediately feel at ease, responding lightning quick to all correspondence. Wayne and Alice are true professionals and were tremendous throughout the entire process. We used Wayne for our beach ceremony and reception. Sound quality and music selection were spot on, loud enough to hear everything but never overbearing. I can't tell you how many weddings we've attended where the DJ was a liability, but completely not the case here! Wayne made our wedding day flawless - all we had to do was get married! Working with Alice and Wayne DeLair was a joy. Alice is the firsdt point of contact that you will make when planning your wedding, and thinking of having Wayne as your DJ. She is very professional and extremely detail oriented, nothing is overlooked. When we met with Wayne the week of our wedding he is very calm and reassuring, letting you know every detail that you have planned will be noted.

From the very first communications exchanged with DeLair Entertainment to the last song played at our reception, Wayne and Alice exceeded our every expectation! Planning the music for our wedding was an incredibly smooth process due entirely to Wayne and Alice's organized and responsive communication. The even went off without a hitch (even after having to move our ceremony location indoors on short notice due to a tropical storm in the Gulf). The dance floor was PACKED and Wayne played every song requested at the exact perfect time throughout the reception. I cannot thank Wayne and Alice enough for making our day flawless!!!! We can’t say enough about Wayne DeLair at our March 2012 wedding. He guided us through the process and made us feel so comfortable in planning for the music during the ceremony & reception. One guest approached me and asked if Wayne was a family member, as he seemed so comfortable and familiar with everyone at the wedding. The D.J. was the vendor picked last at our wedding. We were both extremely adamant about someone who would keep people moving and dancing WITHOUT BEING CHEEZY! We met Wayne at the Bridal Show at the Hyatt, and he was by far our favorite. Our budget did not initially allow for him, but after much discussion and a rave review by our caterers, we made concessions, and are overwhelmingly happy that we did. Alice was fantastic on the front end. Pushing us (not too hard) to get done what we needed to do. And Wayne completely rolled with some of our unconventional ideas (being introduced to Monty Python coconuts). The ceremony music was lovely and the reception had people on the dance floor the whole time. Wayne also time managed the reception wonderfully, keeping us on track for the important events. An A++ for their professionalism and service!

We planned our wedding from across the country and DeLair entertainment was extremely helpful and professional. All of our guests had a wonderful time at the wedding reception and it was all due to Wayne's fantastic DJing! He kept the party going and had impeccable timing introducing all of the events and ushering the guests to where they needed to be during the evening. Wayne also provided the audio system for the ceremony, which was perfect. He hid the lapel mics so they weren't in the photos and all of our guests still heard every word we said! Wayne's wife, Alice, ran the behind the scene administration and planning. Both Alice and Wayne were very efficient, timely and detailed oriented. Wayne was amazing! He did both our ceremony music and reception music. The ceremony music was just the right volume, not too loud or too quiet. The reception music was great. Everyone enjoyed it and he kept a good flow to keep people on the dance floor having fun. My husband is from Puerto Rico and he did a very nice job mixing in some Latin music so everyone could feel included :)
