We had a fantastic experience at Christ Church, much of it due to the incomparable Rev. Erika Takacs.

She's the reason we joined the church in the first place so we were very happy to have her officiating our wedding.

The church is very thorough with their pre-marital counseling requirements, six group classes, a Saturday retreat and four private sessions with the priest.

We loved it, it kept us on track and reminded us of the important things---this is about building a life together not just the party.

Adrienne in the church office is super friendly and guides you through all the coordinating elements with ease and professionalism.

As for flexibility: The church has two side aisles, which is a little awkward and untraditional for entrance/exit---they are also extremely strict about certain things given the church's historic nature---no pew decorations, minimal flowers, photographer can only shoot from two places and not during the majority of the ceremony, flower girls can't toss petals, all selected music must be religious, etc.

It worked for us but I can see it being frustrating for some brides...the suggested donation is $1600, which seemed a bit steep but covered organist, pre-marital counseling, etc. I think other churches may have similar fees though in this area....

Everyone at Christ Church made our wedding perfect. What a perfect and romantic place to get married.
