Had never before used Broward when going to and from LaGuardia, but I knew we were in good hands when, 24 hours before being picked up, we received a confirmation call from Broward. Nailed time, airport and airline. Same on our return, received a call confirming time, airport, airline and home address. Many places do not do this. But with air travel being what it is today, this sort of customer service is welcome, indeed. One less thing to be stressed about. And the two drivers were utter delights, gracious and professional.

I would dissuade anyone from using this company. The owner, Bob MacDonald tells you what you want to hear until it's too late and you have no other options. Like many brides, finding transportation was the last of my priorities. Looking back, I realize I should've made it my top concern since poor transportation can cause a slew of problems which unfortunately, I found out the hard way. I hired a bus and Rolls through Broward Limos in Island Park, NY for my wedding last weekend (rolls was actually subcontracted from Mark of Elegance but I dealt only with Broward). The bus was instructed to pick up my guests at The Garden City Hotel and bring them to the ceremony at KP Merchant Marine Academy then bring the guests to the reception (GC Country Club) and return them to the hotel upon their request and w scheduled shuttles at 1030pm and 11pm. The Rolls was to bring the bride to the ceremony and to the reception. The bus was late to arrive at the hotel and then preceded to wait for another wedding accidentally. It left 50 mins late from the hotel and would not leave until I, the bride, called frantically from my hotel room (where I waited as not to be seen by the guests) before being able to leave in the Rolls. When I called the office, I was told abruptly that my passengers were late and I owed a $1200 cash balance. It was not until I literally screamed into the phone at the top of my lungs that the bus HAD to leave and the balance would be paid when I could leave my room and get to the Rolls that the office finally instructed the bus to depart for the ceremony. My guests were sitting on the bus for almost an hour. I was late for my wedding, my guests were late for my wedding-- which resulted in having to pay all of my ceremony vendors for an additional 1/2 hour. Adding insult to injury, once the bus brought guests to the reception, the driver refused to shuttle them back to the hotel before 1030pm. Once I got wind of it, I had to leave MY reception and ask the driver to please shuttle the guests upon their request. Hesitantly, the driver agreed. Unfortunately, several guests had already taken cabs the 1 mile distance to the hotel since they were turned away by the driver. I guess I paid for a bus for 10 hours only to sit in front of the country club for asthetics. I should've known this company was going to be a problem-- Bob MacDonald, owner of Broward, told me a few days before the wedding that I could pay my remaining balance in any way that I chose before the wedding. However, the day before the wedding, the office called me to finalize the balance. When I attempted to pay the $1200 balance with my credit card, I was told by the office worker that I could only pay with cash on the day of. To follow up, Bob called me himself and denied our entire conversation that had occurred only days before. I have not received any apologies from Broward for the comedy of errors that occurred on my wedding day. If you are looking for a wedding limo vendor in the NY area, use Cruise Control. I used them for my limousines and was treated professionally and there were absolutely no problems. Also, Margaret (Owner) is a pleasure to work with and is very forthcoming in all aspects of services provided. Stay away from Broward!!

My son was married recently, and the ONLY vendor we had any issue with was Broward Limousine. They were contracted to take guests from the hotel in Rockville Center to and from the Woodmere Club (a trip of about 15 minutes). The driver got lost and ended up arriving at the club less than 5 minutes before the ceremony. When we spoke to the owner Robert McDonald two days later, he denied that the driver got lost, saying that he "missed the turn a few times." In fact, Mr. McDonald refused to admit that his company had done anything wrong. A simple "I am sorry" would have made us feel a lot better, but it was not forthcoming. My recommendation - avoid this company at all costs.

The guys there are Very professional although there was no contract just a hand written receipt, but for some reason it didnt worry me. The driver showed up earlier than expected and got us to the reception hall within a half hour with traffic. I cant do that without traffic! He was cautious but very prompt. The only thing was that I wanted to stop at a local park/beach to take pics but he couldnt take us because he had to pick up another party, I was a little disappointed but I understood, I wasnt letting it ruin my day. And it didnt!

I was very happy with Broward Limousines. They were prompt and the driver was friendly. The reception location was a little difficult to find but the driver did not have any problems whatsover. Overall, they worked out very well and provided a great service.
