We held our wedding at Blue Hill Catskills on October 1st, 2022. We began our search for a wedding Venue after we were engaged in 2019. We initially had a family-related venue in mind (also in the Catskills) but it ended up closing down due to covid. At first, we were disappointed we could not get married where we initially wanted to but as I sit here and type this, I am so grateful it went that way. Blue Hill was perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous, located along the Neversink river and the Catskill Mountains, the scenery was idyllic. The area is quiet, yet had many things to see like the Neversink Reservoir and the Willowemoc Forest (plus more!) The buildings themselves at Bluehill are beautiful, the architecture added so much to the scenery and made it so we did not have to decorate every inch of the place. We held our ceremony right outside the Art Center, which was a beautiful green space perfect for a ceremony. Our reception was held behind the Event Center in a large tent that provided more than enough space for dinner and dancing! Savannah was an absolute delight to work with. Her communication was great and she is so pleasant and positive. She always kept us up to date on deadlines and what we needed to be doing. Anytime we had a question, she got back to us right away! We chose the emerald package which included using their preferred vendors. The vendors were all awesome and easy to work with. If we ever needed help getting in contact with Vendors, Savannah was on it so quickly! Overall, Blue Hill, its staff, and the owner were so easy to work with. They all made our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined. The pricing is also fantastic compared to other "Catskill Wedding Destinations." Also, THE FOOD! Multiple wedding guests have commented that it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had. They also made sure we actually got to sit down and eat! Plus, the brewery also brews delicious beer and the bride's favorite cider. I am still in awe of how perfect everything went almost 2 Weeks Later. I wish I could re-live that day every day! If you are considering a Catskills wedding, book here! I promise you will not be disappointed.
