For over 15 years, brides and coordinators have been pleasantly surprised by the discovery of the availability of this venue for events. This beautiful garden, in the heart of downtown Austin, provides the perfect backdrop for weddings and a variety of receptions. With a simple change of table linens, The Umlauf is easily transformed from a casual, tranquil retreat to an elegant, exclusive locale.

Surrounded by the beauty of the garden and the current exhibit displayed inside the museum, the covered terrace and adjacent lawn can comfortably accommodate 200 people. The Roberta Crenshaw Building holds room for another 50 guests.

Rental timeframes may be scheduled outside of hours of museum operation throughout the year.
