Subtle Glances is a full service custom design/letterpress printing studio. All of our designs are unique and created specifically for you as a couple. We’re here to bring those special details into realization through your wedding stationary ensemble - save the dates, invitations, table names, escort cards, menus and programs to name a few. Your custom ensemble will give your guests a small glimpse of your special day and a reminder of who you are as a couple. We design so that we can capture your story, your relationship, and the moment that you knew they were the one. As every story is different, each invitation is a reflection of your relationship, captured as a moment in time - on paper forever.
So many of the invitations that we get from our couples are from Subtle Glances. That's because they are so good at what they do! Their letterpress is amazingly thoughtful and well designed. We seen them so much and liked their work, so we even got them to do our business cards!

How far in advance should we hire a stationer for our wedding?
You typically want to send out your invitations 3-4 months in advance of your wedding date. Our process from concept start to delivery typically ranges from one to three months. The timeline varies based on how quickly a couple finalizes their design concept. Our suggestion is to hire a stationer right away so that you have extra time to finalize decisions with your partner.
Are you available to meet in person to view samples of your work?
Yes. We provide a complimentary consultation session to get to know you as a couple and to provide an opportunity for you to see our work and meet us in person. This is a standard process if you’re in the area. If you are not local, we can send complimentary sample work.
How many proofs and design concepts will we get to see?
We will provide as many proofs as necessary to end up with a final product that you love. There's no limit in our contract to the amount of design concepts and ideas we provide, but we will initially hand off 1-2 ideas based on our initial consultation. From there, we will modify and adjust based on your feedback.
