Shannon was exceptional. Her photos are elegant and timeless and she is easy to work with. Truth, this is my second wedding. My first wedding photographer took some great shots but her ability to capture people was lackluster. Shannon has mastered taking great shots that really capture people in the moment. A lot of photographers do one or the other well, but not both. Shannon’s pricing is very fair and she works well with the other wedding vendors. Shannon offers personalized service. If you book with Shannon, you aren’t booking with some company that will treat your wedding like another number on an assembly line and send two photographers out to shoot your wedding you have never met. Shannon and Belinda absolutely made our wedding day amazing. They were personable and attentive to our wants, and also joined in on our fun. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing. I hope to work with them again!

Studio Carre was an excellent choice for our wedding photographer! After moving away from San Diego recently, we decided to return to La Jolla to host a destination wedding at the Martin Johnson House. Since we were coordinating everything remotely, it was reassuring to see how professional and prepared Shannon was for every interaction. From video conference calls, to a comprehensive survey to learn about our personal story & style preferences, Shannon led us through the details with confidence and creativity. We met on site during a preview trip with our coordinator about 2 months before the event, and then Shannon planned another scouting trip since she hadn't worked at the venue previously. She sent us a draft schedule well ahead of time, and patiently accommodated our last-minute changes to family portrait requests.

On wedding day, she brought a great assistant photographer and both helped to calmly nudge us to stay on time during the transition after getting ready. We did our first look at the hotel, and then they even drove us to the ceremony site for our couple photos! The pre-ceremony portraits took a while, but Shannon had some great ideas for locations and poses around our venue site. Shortly before the ceremony, she suggested a few photos in front of a beautiful wooden barn door with the best man and maid of honor. Other poses featured details from the landscape, either wedged between flowers and trees, or on a nearby balcony in front of the ocean. I'm looking forward to seeing this wide range of settings, in addition to the standard family gatherings in front of the altar. During our reception, when our coordinator pointed out that we were running later than expected, it was a relief to know that we had the option to extend the photographers' time.

I also appreciated her online billing system to keep track of everything. Compared to other vendors, this really helped me streamline payments and due dates! I can't wait to see the photos!

Shannon was wonderful! She worked well with my husband and my camera awkwardness , making sure we felt comfortable, while also posing us in just the right way. She was engaging and fun to talk to, it felt like we had an old friend behind the lens. All these things made for such a great experience, I would suggest her to anyone!

Shannon Henry is an incredibly talented and professional photographer. We picked her out from about 25 suggestions in the San Diego area because we simply LOVED her softer style and her eye and idea for beautiful shots. She was warm, created a package that was exactly what we wanted and took well over 5 hours at different places and with different outfits shooting a great range of different motifs. Of all the 200 photos there is not one we don't like which I have never experienced before. Definitely highly recommend!

Both Shannon and Belinda were great! Both of them made me feel like I belonged on the cover of GQ magazine and when taking shots of me and my wife it felt as if we would be featured in Wedding Style. Even though our timeline was running behind they both stayed late and made sure that all the important shots were taken. If we had to do this again, I'd make sure to have them as our photographers.

Shannon, owner of Studio Carre' Photographie was such a pleasure to work with. She was warm and welcoming upon our first meeting, and her photographs spoke for themselves. Her work was phenomenal! We had met with a couple other photographers that day before arriving at Shannon's studio, but I knew within the first five minutes that she was the right choice for us. The package we selected included an engagement shoot as well as the-day-of wedding coverage. Both days she brought along Belinda, a second photographer that had an amazing eye as well :) Both ladies were delightful to work with. They made us feel comfortable and gave great direction (which was a relief considering my husband and I had never done a photoshoot before). We were both a little nervous the day of our engagement shoot, and my soon to be mother-in-law had been hospitalized the night before (she had stage 4 lung cancer and it was taking over). It was a hard day to do a photo shoot, yet both ladies were extremely patient with us, and seemed to genuinely care about the situation and what we were going through. They spent SO much time with us that day! They captured some amazing, raw, and emotional moments. We could not have been happier with the results of both our shoots. Their creativity and eye for great angles gave us LOVELY photographs! Every cost and detail was laid out very thoroughly in our emails back and forth (which was nice, considering some of our other wedding vendor contracts had SOOO much fine print you seemed to get lost in it all).
