Interactive and fun without taking over the party or making the DJ be the center of the event.
What is your usual attire?
Tuxedo unless specified otherwise.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
We have thousands of songs in CD and MP3 format. We can find the song if you don't have it or your welcome to provide it. Providing it is not a requirement.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have 7 sound systems and seven qualified DJ to work events. All equipment is owned by A Sound Choice Entertainment. No subcontractors.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
3 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We don't specialize in them but are very accustom to playing a variety of ethnic music and making that work within the context of any event.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes and dance floor lighting is included in the price of the event.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
The only special equipment needed in some cases is a lapel mic for your Officiant. If needed it's an additional rental item. We also have LCD projectors and screens for rental if needed for a slide show presentation.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Twenty minutes. However we do arrive one hour prior to the guest arrival time. Most venues will provided us with a 8ft. table with linen.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Any good DJ should do both for coordination, instruction and entertainment value.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Not needed.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We work in conjunction with a lot of other dj's in the community and we're are on good terms with may who can help in a pinch if needed.
What is your overtime rate?
$50.00 per half hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Depends on the distance to travel.
