Anthony with A Sound Choice was an incredible DJ. He was very willing to meet with us and go over every detail; he was well prepared for the rehearsal so it ran smoothly and on the day-of he made sure every detail was accounted for and taken care of! He was an invaluable member of our team of vendors and he made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. He collaborated seamlessly with the Abernethy Center staff and together everyone made us feel like royalty on the best day of our lives. If we had to do it all again, we'd still pick them!

Anthony took care of us for our September wedding at Bridal Veil Lakes and he was absolutely wonderful! He was so helpful with the planning process and happy to take any and all requests we had! He's very experienced with the venue, so he had everything all figured out before we even talked about it, which made everything so much easier! He was wonderful at encouraging our guests on the dance floor and so funny, but never crossed over into the cheesy club DJ. He made our day that much more special and we are so thankful we were lucky enough to find him! You won't be disappointed!

Anthony was the MC/DJ for our wedding at Abernethy Center and he did an amazing job. He was very well organized, energetic, and really knew what he was doing. He even had some great suggestions for our reception, like the Anniversary Dance (which neither of us had ever heard of, but it was a huge hit). The music and flow was great and he was very helpful in keeping us on time during the reception; with all the activity it was near impossible to know when it was getting close for cake cutting, toasting, etc. We are very pleased and thankful to Anthony and A Sound Choice for amazing service and really memorable wedding day. :)

Anthony from A Sound Choice Entertainment was amazing!! We wanted a DJ who was going to be professional and who could deliver on what we asked, as well as someone who wouldn’t break the budget. We also wanted a good blend of current hits along with some oldies mixed in and he delivered! Anthony was very easy to work with and he was very straightforward when it came to pricing. Now when my husband and I talk to anybody that came to our wedding, family or friend, they all talk about how much fun they had on the dance floor! We would most definitely recommend A Sound Choice Entertainment!!

Anthony was AMAZING! He played great music, was flexible, and executed everything flawlessly! We wanted a professional DJ who would not be flashy or cheesy and Anthony was just that. Our wedding was at Sentinel in March and since he has been the DJ at many weddings there, he offered up helpful insight into the rooms that I would not have thought about. He had also DJ'd at our friend's wedding in September (we did not know until they told us at our wedding) and my husband and myself both commented after their wedding how much we liked him.

Would highly recommend Anthony! If I realized anything through the wedding planning process it was to hire the right vendors and then trust them. You can trust Anthony with your special day.

Anthony was a wonderful DJ and really helped our wedding day run smoothly. He kept guest going on the dance floor and was very flexible when things weren't able to go as planned. We had to make a few changes in our itinerary and Anthony was able to get the reception to flow without any guests knowing that we had to make some changes. He was present, but not overbearing. We would highly recommend Anthony!

Perfect DJ for our Wedding!

We booked A Sound Choice Entertainment for our August wedding based on the recommended vendor list from our venue (Abernethy Center), and we did not regret it one bit! Anthony was easy to work with, had clear and quick communication, and included an easy-to-use/wonderfully useful planning tool on his website. He was extremely professional and kind during our wedding and had no problems incorporating my eclectic mix of video game and fantasy music during our ceremony and reception. Our wedding was a mix of dancers and non-dancers and he kept the music balanced and helped our timeline proceed smoothly. Anthony could not have been easier or better to work with! He did a fantastic job in every way we could have imagined.

We were married at Abagail's Garden at the Abernethy Center, he joined us for the rehearsal which was great. He also was extremely flexible and accommodating when it comes to song choice.

We really appreciated Anthony's ability to "go with the flow" of the wedding during the reception. He was professional in the way that he communicated times and changes throughout the evening and he was flexible and engaged in making sure things were going the way we wanted- which was awesome.

We would recommend Anthony to anyone who wants to have a killer wedding day!

Anthony was our DJ and we couldn't have asked for anything more! He was professional and humorous during the dinner. Then for the dance he played to the crowd and the dance floor was packed all night long...even with some polkas! :) We would recommend him to anyone for any type of event! This is a great company. A Sound Choice provided the music for my daughters wedding and reception. They performed the service extremely well. There were no "technical difficulties" and everything worked perfectly. The reception was great - everything moved right long, no lulls in the activity and the music selections were very nice. Everyone had a great time!

The wedding day went so smoothly for me and my husband, and we were really impressed with the quality of the vendors that ran everything. The DJ, Anthony Wedin, was super professional and just very good at picking out songs that catered to the audience. I want to go back to that day and live it again - it was that much fun! The Abernethy Center was a beautiful place for the wedding to be held. We used Abigail's Garden, which has use of the gazebo for the reception. All of our guests seemed to really enjoy themselves as well, and I know that we would definitely recommend A Sound Choice and the Abernethy Center to anybody getting married in the Portland area.

Anthony was the best choice for a dj that I could imagine. He helped everything flow. Like every wedding some things don't go as planned, but he was quick on his feet to help if there was a song that wasn't a huge hit. He would fade it out and play a classic. He got everyone dancing and was perfect. Couldn't have thought of a more perfect business to go with.

Anthony Wedin with Sound Choice Entertainment was fantastic. All of our guests commented on how great the ceremony and reception flowed, thanks to Anthony. One of my bridesmaids even booked Anthony after seeing how great of a job he did at our wedding. The Sound Choice Entertainment website provides a detailed planner where we were able to include everything from who was walking with who down the aisle to all of the songs we wanted played at our reception. It was easy to use and we reviewed it with Anthony 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page.

I was impressed with A Sound Choice from the first phone call. They were professional and energetic, and they sincerely wanted to provide my groom and me with services that complemented our personalities and the atmosphere we wanted at our wedding reception. During the reception, Anthony set the mood with a great selection of music, and his MC'ing was appropriate and kept things moving along seamlessly. I was most impressed with his attention to my groom and me. He made sure we knew what was going on when necessary but he was not obtrusive or overwhelming. We were able to relax and have fun with the knowledge that he was working hard for us.

Anthony is a pro!

Anthony was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. We were pleased that his prices were reasonable and within our budget yet he has decades of experience. He was easy and professional to communicate with mostly via email and his website. We were able to fill out a form on his website with all the ceremony and reception details, songs we wanted (and didn't want). On wedding day I didn't even notice him arrive or set up (which, as the bride, you want!). Our pre ceremony and ceremony ran smoothly. Anthony helped the order of events flow smoothly and directed our guests appropriately. Anthony helped us coordinate first dance, parent dances, anniversary dance, and a group photo that kicked off the open dance floor. It was a bit slow to start because of the 95 degree weather but Anthony read the room and it turned into a huge dance party that continued until we had to shut it down. I also heard after the fact that he was polite to those that approached him to make song requests, which I appreciate. Don't hesitate to hire Anthony with A Sound Choice Entertainment!

Anthony did a wonderful job at our wedding. Our ceremony was outside in the Veiled Garden at the Abernethy Center where he first provided the music for our ceremony. He was very professional, his timing was perfect and everything went exactly as we planned. Anthony played a terriffic mix of dance music for our reception in the ballroom and included all of our requests we discussed before the wedding. He kept everything moving along but managed to keep us from feeling rushed. We enjoyed our wedding day more than we ever imagined. Thank you Anthony for such a wonderful memory. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!! Guests and the wedding party all thought he was a staff member of Abernethy Center because he completely coordinated EVERYTHING! He was fantastic -- If I had to say one person made it all come together, it was our DJ from Sound Choice. We were so thrilled we wrote him a second check because we just didn't feel his fee came anywhere close to covering all the services AND PEACE OF MIND that he provided it bringing it all together. He single handedly coordinated the procession for the wedding, he came to the rehearsal with my songs all cued up and discussed various options, he cued each of the wedding party as to when to start up the aisle; he kept the guests informed all night long as to the next event -- and most improtantly he kept my husband and I informed on where we needed to be when. The "presentation" and entertainment portion of our wedding was flawless thanks to A Sound Choice Entertainment --- don't use anyone else!! He also arranged for our wonderful pianist to play during dinner -- see her review too!

Anthony was a great DJ and we are really glad we went with him. We had already selected him as our DJ before finding out that he had done a handful of other friends weddings. The planning process was easy to do online as long as you are comfortable with navigating the internet. We advised Anthony of our music preferences and gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear as well as songs or genres we didn't care for as much. He was very responsive and easy to work with. We didn't have to meet in person and were able to coordinate over the phone and via email, which was nice with busy schedules. We were very pleased with how Anthony DJ'd our reception and highly recommend him!

We could not , had picked a better company to DJ

They "ROCKED THE HOUSE". All I did was gave them a few sample songs of what we liked and they filled in the rest with PERFECT music. They also kept the wedding rolling along with the first dance, cake cutting, toast, boguet throw etc. . .

Shari and I wanted to send you a thank you for the wonderful and professional service your company provided on our wedding day June 21, 2014 at the Sentinel (formally Governor Hotel). Nik was awesome! The music choices you provided and he chose to play were exactly what we needed and expected. Nik did a tremendous job of reading our family and friends at the reception and changed things up as needed and kept the party going until 930. The DJ (Daniel) was great. He was accommodating and very friendly. Many of our guests were complementing us on the play list and how smoothly it went. Anthony was very easy to work with. He responded to emails and calls promptly, and met in person twice to plan the details. He is an experienced DJ, and takes his job very seriously. Anthony helped us with the ceremony music, provided the soundtrack for the dinner banquet, and was the emcee for the reception events. BEST DJ EVER!!! - Made our Wedding so much fun

Anthony was one of the highlights of our wedding. He is so kind, patient, thoughtful and experienced. Not only did he serve as the master of ceremonies for the entire evening, but he was able to guide us and advise during the planning phase for what we should do and when. I found that part very helpful. He was incredibly polite and patient with us (and all of our guests)--corralling everyone where they needed to be throughout the evening. He is the ultimate professional.
And most importantly, he and my husband were in constant contact before the wedding, determining playlists for each section of the evening. He had everyone on the dance floor for 5 HOURS! Our guests still tell us how amazing he was and what a fun dance party it was. I would honestly tell any future bride/groom that hiring A Sound Choice Entertainment will guarantee that your wedding will be a huge success and one of the most fun nights of your life. (My sister also hired A.S.C. which is how I knew he was the right choice!)

A True Professional!!!

We "finally" had an opportunity to work with Anthony's this summer for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding.

Fantastic energy

Anthony was great and all our guests loved him. He learned names of our guest quickly making it more personal. He understood our song genre and what we liked, playing all the good dance music that kept our dance floor full. Anthony had just the right amount of interaction with the crowd and not over doing it on the mic. He adapted easily to our flexible schedule. Our wedding went smoothly and was a blast.

Easy-Going DJ Who Did Not Disappoint!

We hired Anthony for our June, 2024 wedding and he was excellent! His online planning tool helped us stay on track with our planning when it came to the music. He was attentive and worked well with our other vendors. Our guest count was only 40, so we were worried no one would dance, however, we had almost everyone up on the dance floor all night and it was a BLAST! Anthony is an easy choice when looking for a DJ.

He kept out ceremony flowing exactly how we imagined it and the reception, well it was THE BEST.

Anthony was AMAZING! My husband and I have a mix of dancers and non-dancers/minglers in our family, so we were a little worried about having an empty dance floor. June Wedding and Reception

Anthony was awesome! We booked him probably 8 months in advance and he gave us a general outline of service and had good tips and creative ideas on how to set up the venue to give a better experience for our guests. We build our own venue from the ground up so we had a lot of flexibility but also not a great plan for the general layout. He was able to give us direction on placement of the dance floor and sound booth as well as tips on how to place tables so we weren’t blowing the ears out of people sitting closer to the sound booth.
The ceremony song timing and sound quality was fantastic. No mic issues or static feedback came through the speakers, and he did a great job of making sure it all flowed well. He dressed nice and was very professional in his appearance and presentation. Setup and takedown was timely and he came well prepared.
His knowledge about flow and timing of different events like first dance, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss etc. was very helpful in getting the night planned and keeping things on a schedule. The reception went off without a hitch.
He was great about giving us announcements for the next event ahead of time which allowed us time to finish up conversations so we never felt too rushed, and added humor when my lovely bride took a little time getting over to the cake or dance floor. The sound quality was excellent and his song choices were spot on. He made sure to have plenty of diversity in terms of dance speed and types. There wasn’t ever a dead period where people weren’t on the floor having a blast.
He was more than willing to stay longer and work with the party atmosphere to keep it going while people were still there. The end of the night was tactful and he finished on a good note and time.
All in all, Anthony did a wonderful job. My hat is off to him, and I would highly suggest him for any event.

Anthony with A Sound Choice Entertainment was absolutely amazing to work with! From the first initial meeting to the wedding, Anthony was nothing short of professional, friendly, funny and helpful. He worked with us to give us certain songs we specifically requested to suggestions when we had no clue what we wanted. We filled out the DJ playlist he provided ( which is extremely helpful by the way!) and then pretty much left the rest of it in his hands and trusted everything would go smoothly. And he did just that! Anthony and the music he provided was a huge hit with the guests. He was very interactive with the crowd, and was great at getting people up to dance the night away! Anthony was so great to work with from the initial consultation through the event and even follow-up. Communication was great. Anthony was a dream to work with. His communication was clear, professional and prompt. We couldn’t have been happier with his services for our wedding. Professional - Flexible - Dance Party Master

Anthony, of A Sound Choice Entertainment delivered an epic dance party (it was more than 3 hours and involved crowd surfing at one point) at our wedding and catered to our fairly demanding requests with ease. He was easy to work with and professional throughout our interactions and we would recommend him highly to anyone hoping for a DJ that knows what he’s doing and get a good dance party going.
The music at our wedding was one of the areas we really focused on because, in our humble opinion, the dance party at a wedding makes or breaks the evening. We wanted our guests to be dancing and we allocated a large amount of time to the dancing part of the evening so that could happen. We looked through a lot of different DJs and were very happy to come across Anthony, who’s website provides a nice template for helping him to understand what sort of music you’re looking for throughout the event (in addition to being a good checklist for things you have to think about).
Our venue had a lot of different areas, including an outdoor wedding venue, outdoor dance floor, and barn for the dinner. Of course, we wanted to use all of them and this made for a challenging request to Anthony. It meant that he’d have to move his setup a few times and bring extra equipment in addition to some extra setup time. Anthony deftly managed this situation and charged us very reasonably for the additional requests. The whole evening went off without a hitch.
In addition to us asking for a lot of different locations for music, we were also very picky about what music we wanted. Anthony confirmed with us that we really wanted to be that picky and then asked us how we would like him to respond if he got a request outside of our musical preferences. We asked that he politely say that the bride and groom have asked him to stick to a particular genre, and we saw him turn people down when they requested things that were outside of what we wanted, which we were grateful for. He was also very attentive to the audience and did a great job of picking the right songs at the right time to keep the party going, which is what you want in a DJ.
Overall, Anthony did a fantastic job at our wedding, and we would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who is professional and delivers the dance party!

My husband and I did a ton of research to try to find a great DJ for a reasonable price. After meeting with 5 different DJ companies, it was obvious that A Sound Choice Entertainment was the best choice! We worked with Anthony and he was great from start to finish! We had several phone calls and emails that were exchanged and he was always very prompt in his response. We all met up at Starbucks a couple times and Anthony was extremely helpful when it came to planning out the flow of the reception. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give suggestions and advice that work work for our theme, timeframe, budget, etc.

Anthony came to the rehearsal to make sure everything was organized and everyone know the gameplan. On the day of the wedding (Abernethy Center) he was amazing! I never felt like I needed to worry about the time or what to do next. He was so on top of it and made the reception run so smoothly!

And the music he played was AWESOME! I gave him a list of songs prior to the wedding (so he did have some ideas), but he did a fantastic job at transitioning from the more fun/upbeat songs, to the hip-hop/current stuff later in the night. The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone had a blast! I would definitely recommend Anthony because of his professionalism, positive attitude, and great DJ skills! THANKS ANTHONY! :)

We had a great experience with Anthony! To be honest, we were nervous about having a DJ because we were afraid he might be cheesy or annoying. Anthony was anything but! He was laid back but kept the pace of the wedding moving along. A Sound Choice provided exactly what we asked for--a great mix of dance music that helped create a great party. We did not want to micro manage or provide a playlist--we wanted a professional who understood the flow of a party and knew whne to play what music. Amazing DJ!

From day 1, Anthony was incredible professionalism and personable. He is thorough with his work, and has a great relaxed attitude that can't help but also put you at ease as well during what could be a very stressful time. He helped the flow of things and made sure we were happy at every step of the way. He even addressed foreseeable problems right before the ceremony and made recommendations to prevent issues (loud live bar music across the street that would be play during our ceremony, so we moved the ceremony back inside from the balcony).

Anthony Wedin was the DJ for my reception as well as our ceremony. I would recommend him to EVERYONE. I really think that a DJ can "make or break" the wedding reception experience and Anthony "made" our reception. I loved how he kept people dancing and played music that everyone loved! There were absolutely no goofs during our ceremony sound-wise, everyone loved how they could hear both the pastor and we also mic'd the groom. Anthony was always responsive as we planned the details for the dance music for my daughter's wedding ceremony, and took care to listen very carefully to what they wanted. David from A Sound Choice Entertainment did a fabulous job at our wedding. He was professional and played great background music until it was time to get dancing. He played a great mix of music for everyone and when we didn't "choose" a song from the awesome online reception and ceremony tool, he picked songs that didn't scream wedding or cheesy.

Also, his announcements were short and sweet. He let the night flow and did a great job showing restraint on using the microphone. At the crowd's insistence, he played one more song for everyone, which led to a conga line onto the bus!

Awesome experience

Anthony was a pleasure to work with, and really made the whole process easy. Anthony's communication and style made it easy to plan out from the start. Additionally, Anthony made us feel extremely comfortable and trusted his decision making which allowed us to enjoy the day. We had an awesome time at the wedding, due in part to our music! Everything was set up perfectly, and the dance music Anthony selected for the party was perfect - there were no lulls and people had an awesome time.

Anthony was a fantastic DJ! My husband and I were married at McMenamins Edgefield, and we held our reception outdoors. Anthony knew everything that was needed to accommodate this, so I didn't have to worry at all about power and all of that. His music selection was excellent, and the online planning tool made the whole process super easy, no stress! He was very reachable by both phone and email, and responded to all of my inquires in a very timely manner. All of our guests told us how fun our wedding was, and that the music was fantastic. I would highly recommend A Sound Choice Entertainment to anyone who is looking for a DJ!

Anthony was recommended to us by a friend. He was very excellent to work with, professional and gracious . He met with my spouse and I before hand and answered any questions we had and even offered addition suggestions about best practice when asked about how to feed guests fast. The dance party during the reception was unreal, everyone from young to old was dancing and this was one of the many highlights of the night. We would highly recommend a sound choice !

Anthony and Nik were absolutley amazing. Anthony helped me with all the planning and music selection and Nik provided his amazing service of being the DJ. It was so smooth from start to finish...and they ran the entire show. They communicated extremely well with the Caterer/Even Planner and the Venue. I never had to worry about a thing. I would hire them again, and have already passed them on to friends that I know are getting married.

Would recommend Anthony!

Anthony was the DJ at my sisters wedding 7 years ago. When it came to be our turn, it was a no brainer-this guy knows how to MC a wedding and keep a dance floor going! He was also super flexible when COVID turned out original plan upside down. Even with a much smaller crowd-Anthony made everything run super smooth. He is easy to talk to and very reasonable. Would recommend to anything needing a DJ for any kind of event!

My fiance and I had to find a new DJ 2 weeks before our wedding and Soung of Choice was able to accomodate our needs. John Brookhouse was our DJ for both our wedding ceremony and reception at Gray Gables Estate. John was very professional and easy to work with. Amazing and Friendly DJ

Anthony is truly wonderful to work with! He is attentive and caring and treats your wedding day with the utmost care. He makes sure you and your family are taken care of. Works with you to plan playlists and wedding day music details. He provides advice and help when needed and offers plenty of song suggestions. My family and I had an absolute blast and Anthony truly kept the party going with the perfect music! 1000/10 recommend!!

Anthony was wonderful as our DJ for our wedding. I met with him prior to go over our song choices, our taste in music, etc. He listened intently and was able to have a good sense of what we liked and would not like. He is very knowledgable in music, and provided us with a variety of what we liked of pop, old school hip hop, and country. During our wedding, he was comfortable and professional in his demeanor. He knew exactly what to do and how to execute! Our guests danced their hearts out and had a wonderful time! I highly recommend!

Anthony at A Sound Choice Entertainment was awesome to work with! He listened to the what songs we wanted played when, he was professional, not cheesy or too "in your face" like some DJ's can be at weddings. He made the whole reception go very smooth. The online planning tools and time line are very easy to use and cover the whole wedding from ceremony to reception. Payments are also very easy to make online and track when you have made payments. I could not have imagined having a better DJ and one who listened to what we wanted and actually played music we liked and kept the dance floor packed!

Nik from A Sound Choice was more than we could have ever asked for!

We had originally booked another DJ company over a year before our wedding. But, after a year of basically no communication from them and feeling like they barely cared, they decided that the Portland Bridal Show was more important than our wedding. They basically cancelled on us less than two weeks before our wedding. But, our amazing photographer, Jeff Hinds, referred us to A Sound Choice and Nik became our DJ.

Anthony from ASC was patient when I was frantically getting our contract signed and songs picked out. He returned all of my emails quickly and was so kind and knowledgeable when he answered all of my questions. He told me that Nik would be our DJ and that everything would be great. I was anxious about it after our original DJ experience…

Then we met Nik on our wedding day. He was cool, collected and, again, patient with my craziness! He had everything planned out and took care of everything. Our ceremony with off without a hitch and people raved about the music at our cocktail hour.

At the reception, Nik made announcements when necessary (and when we asked) and blended in when the party was really rocking. Everyone danced, including older family and friends, and the music was right on. He could feel the vibe of the party and kept it going all night. Once the dancing started at 6:30pm, the dance floor was packed all the way until we had to cut it off at 11:30pm!

Thank god the other DJ company was so awful to us because we would not have had Nik and such an amazing amazing wedding! I cannot thank Anthony and Nik enough for making our day so fun and stress-free. Book them. It will be one of your best decisions for your wedding day!

We Could Not Be More Pleased!

We had our wedding at Abernethy Center in Oregon City and used A Sound Choice Entertainment for both the wedding ceremony and the reception. We could not have been more pleased with both! Ceremony music and sound were perfect. Lapel mics provided sound so everyone could hear. Our processional and recessional songs were cued just right. At the reception Anthony announced our arrival, played background music for dinner and dance music for the festivities. All of it was the type of music we asked for. The entire evening moved easily through our “first dance”, dinner, toasts, cake cutting, dancing (even the Electric Slide with him demonstrating the basic moves!), and our farewell with Anthony gently orchestrating the flow. We had LOTS of compliments on how everything went so smoothly and we know this is not in small part due to A Sound Choice Entertainment. Overall, A+ !

Andy was great! He played a little bit of everything and I think everyone danced at one point, but either way the dance floor was always packed. The music sounded great, he set up for the ceremony and the reception and both went together seemlesly. He also was on top of things, making sure we did our first dance, cut the cake, garter/boquet toss, etc. I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to the music. He was definetly worth the price!

Our DJ from A Sound Choice was Great the day of our wedding. We think his best attribute was his flexibility and ability to read the flow of the reception. He adjusted well to the guests at our wedding. He did well on the mic by getting people excited and helping the flow of the wedding.

We were very pleased with the choice of music the DJ picked. We met with the DJ two different times to discuss our style and felt that he had a good idea of what we would like. From this point on we left it up to him to choose the music and were pleased with what we got during the ceremony and reception!

Danced the night away!

Anthony was so professional, personable, and responsive all night. He captured our music taste so quickly and well that at one point my sister wanted to ask him to play a “bad song” so she could take a break! We had many people say that it was the best wedding dj they have experienced and I agree! Highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to have Anthony Wedin as our DJ for our wedding at The Treasury Ballroom! He listened to the atmosphere that we wanted to create at our wedding, and made it happen! He was incredibly easy to work with and was very professional. I can't tell you how many times since the wedding I have had people tell me how amazing the music was! Anthony, from A Sound Choice Entertainment, was a perfect wedding DJ. Their online guide was so easy to follow, and I loved that they asked you to rate different styles of music based on how much you’d like them played at your wedding. So you could rate things like country, rap, top 40, classic rock, etc. to give an idea of how much you’d like that type of style played at your wedding. I think he followed our guide perfectly, he definitely played a lot of songs in the styles we liked, and didn’t play any songs any the styles we didn’t. It was also really helpful that they do weddings so often, so they already had all the songs we requested, and had a lot of great suggestions when we weren’t sure which songs to pick.

Even though it was a morning, brunch wedding, he did a great job getting people out on the dance floor. He knew how to read the crowd and play songs that got everyone moving. I had such a great time. He played all the songs that were requested, and avoided all the cliché songs that I had asked him not to play (like the Chicken Dance and the Macarena).

A Sound Choice Entertainment is a great example of why you should hire a wedding DJ and not just a regular high school DJ or a friend with a great iPod mix. He was great at making all necessary announcements; he had a timeline of when certain things (like the cake cutting and bouquet toss) were going to take place and he followed it perfectly. He announced all the toasts, all the reception events, and all the important photos that we were trying to round people up for. I got a ton of compliments on him. He never just put on a playlist a walked away. He was at the DJ sound system throughout the event, ready to take requests or make announcements or change song styles. He was completely professional and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Anthony was awesome to work with for our wedding at the Abernethy Center. We used his service for both dj and photo booth with party pics. Both were a huge hit. Anthony kept the reception flowing nicely. All the guests we have talked to have mentioned how amazing our dj was and that our reception was one of the funnest they have been to. We used A Sound Choice Entertainment with Anthony as our DJ to provide the ceremony music, to be MC for the reception, and to provide the entertainment for the wedding reception. Anthony was very helpful and easy to work with. He was willing to buy online music that he didn't have in his collection for the wedding. We rented the audio/video equipment from him to play a slideshow for the reception. He made sure that the DVD worked in his equipment prior to the event. During the wedding reception, he set up and broke down all the audio/video equipment. Since, he had never been to our venue before, he was willing to meet with us the day before the big day to discuss the setup location for the ceremony and the reception. On the day of the wedding he was dressed professionally and showed up early to setup. The timing of the music for the ceremony was perfect. During the reception he was a great MC and helped to keep the reception running smoothly. He did make a few mistakes with people's names but later corrected it. Anthony, helped to keep the reception fun and entertaining. Many people at the reception complimented us on how smooth it went and how much fun they had.

Entertaining DJ

Anthony was wonderful during the whole day. He is very hands-on and very attentive to our needs. He was always checking in on us and making sure everything was going OK for our special day.His choice of song selection was fun and everyone enjoys it. Highly recommended and worth the price!

LOVED having Nik as our DJ for our wedding reception. He played great music during dinner, even though we'd barely told him what we wanted, and then completely nailed it during the hours of dancing that followed. There was no shortage of dancing to the great music he was playing, and he didn't even freak out when we were all constantly bombarding him with requests.

The sound quality and volume were perfect, as well as his behind-the-scenes work to make sure all went smoothly throughout the night. I highly recommend using A Sound Choice. My good friend used them as well, and although she had a different DJ, she has nothing but positive things to say about them too. 5 stars for these guys.

Helped us to create lifetime memories!

Selecting Anthony was "a sound choice". As an owner of a wedding facility, Bridal Veil Lakes, I see and hear a few DJs who don't meet my high expectations. That's why we chose Anthony to be an integral part of my daughter's wedding day. Every detail was easy from the consultation, providing music and sound systems during the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, to closing up at the end of the night. He kept the floor packed. He is professional and has a good grasp for what's needed without being told. While Anthony came to our home for this wedding, I've also seen him in action at Bridal Veil Lakes many times. I highly recommend him as your DJ and am glad that we did.
