We booked A Sound Choice Entertainment for our August wedding based on the recommended vendor list from our venue (Abernethy Center), and we did not regret it one bit! Anthony was easy to work with, had clear and quick communication, and included an easy-to-use/wonderfully useful planning tool on his website. He was extremely professional and kind during our wedding and had no problems incorporating my eclectic mix of video game and fantasy music during our ceremony and reception. Our wedding was a mix of dancers and non-dancers and he kept the music balanced and helped our timeline proceed smoothly. We loved working with Anthony and HIGHLY recommend A Sound Choice Entertainment for your wedding!! -

Anthony was such an amazing DJ! I saw people dancing from my family that I didn’t even know they could dance! He kept the party going until the very last second. My dad said he was genuinely the best wedding DJ, which is saying a lot because he’s been to a lot of weddings. He knew exactly what songs to play to keep people dancing. He’s so responsive and easy to work with. Very willing to answer all of our questions. Would highly recommend! -

We hired Anthony for our June, 2024 wedding and he was excellent! His online planning tool helped us stay on track with our planning when it came to the music. He was attentive and worked well with our other vendors. Our guest count was only 40, so we were worried no one would dance, however, we had almost everyone up on the dance floor all night and it was a BLAST! Anthony is an easy choice when looking for a DJ. -

Picking a great DJ was one of the things we cared most about. We were recommended Anthony by our wedding venue, and we couldn’t have chosen anyone better for the job! He is the definition of a professional. He seamlessly coordinated the songs in our processional just how we wanted them and it really set the tone for a beautiful ceremony.
A DJ does more than play music, they help to keep the celebration going and ensure the timeline of events are followed. This allowed us to have a stress-free ceremony and reception and truly be present to enjoy our wedding day. Anthony is very communicative and ensures that what you’re wanting out of the experience is met. He communicated with our coordinator and photographer throughout the day as well. It’s evident that he is highly experienced and his ability to work on a team is exceptional.
When we booked him as our DJ, he had us fill out a survey that allowed us to coordinate with him the timing of the day, what kind of songs we wanted for dancing (you can be as hands-on or hands-off as you want for this—he has an extensive library to work off of, but allows you to provide Spotify playlist if you want to provide more specific direction as far as songs go). This survey helped us think of details we might otherwise have missed when planning our day. It was so helpful in the planning process and led to a very smooth wedding celebration! On the wedding day, he arrived early to set up the audio free of charge. The audio quality was fantastic and all mics worked without any difficulties.
One thing I really appreciated was when he dismissed tables for our buffet, he went around individually to tables and dismissed them. This prevented large lines from building up and made it so we didn’t have to have assigned seating. We loved that!!
He communicated ahead of time with folks giving toasts or doing dances. Anthony pays attention to fine details like pronunciation of names and where each mic will sit. These small details probably go unnoticed in a DJ’s line of work—because it’s only when things go wrong that you might notice them. Nothing went sideways with Anthony—it was a seamless day, a wonderful celebration, and our guests had an amazing time!
The audio quality, coordination, communication, and outstanding professionalism make Anthony a great choice for any wedding! We will continue to recommend him to all our friends and family. -

Anthony was an absolutely amazing DJ! He was patient and thoughtful, gave great suggestions, offered a realistic timeline and had a portal to capture all the details.
At the ceremony, Anthony was even better than he was during the prep (which I didn’t think was possible)! He kept us on time which allowed for a great flow and the wedding was on track.
For the reception, the variety of music was PERFECT! It was a great blend of everything we said we liked, songs that were easy to dance to and it appealed to all of our guests (infant to 85)!
We hired Anthony because he came highly recommended by others and our venue and there wasn’t one disappointment - we would hire him 100 times over! Anthony was one of the highlights of our wedding! -

Works with you to plan playlists and wedding day music details. He provides advice and help when needed and offers plenty of song suggestions. Anthony was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. We were pleased that his prices were reasonable and within our budget yet he has decades of experience. He was easy and professional to communicate with mostly via email and his website. We were able to fill out a form on his website with all the ceremony and reception details, songs we wanted (and didn't want). On wedding day I didn't even notice him arrive or set up (which, as the bride, you want!). Our pre ceremony and ceremony ran smoothly. Anthony helped the order of events flow smoothly and directed our guests appropriately. Anthony helped us coordinate first dance, parent dances, anniversary dance, and a group photo that kicked off the open dance floor. It was a bit slow to start because of the 95 degree weather but Anthony read the room and it turned into a huge dance party that continued until we had to shut it down. I also heard after the fact that he was polite to those that approached him to make song requests, which I appreciate. Don't hesitate to hire Anthony with A Sound Choice Entertainment! -

We Could Not Be More Pleased!
We had our wedding at Abernethy Center in Oregon City and used A Sound Choice Entertainment for both the wedding ceremony and the reception. We could not have been more pleased with both! Ceremony music and sound were perfect. Lapel mics provided sound so everyone could hear. Our processional and recessional songs were cued just right. At the reception Anthony announced our arrival, played background music for dinner and dance music for the festivities. All of it was the type of music we asked for. The entire evening moved easily through our “first dance”, dinner, toasts, cake cutting, dancing (even the Electric Slide with him demonstrating the basic moves!), and our farewell with Anthony gently orchestrating the flow. We had LOTS of compliments on how everything went so smoothly and we know this is not in small part due to A Sound Choice Entertainment. Overall, A+ ! -

Anthony was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process easy. I got married during COVID and even with a yearlong postponement, we made it through with the help of professionals like Anthony. He was so kind and professional with our date change and made everything as easy as it possibly could have been. Anthony was a total pro! In our initial planning we didn't think we needed a DJ, and I am so glad our minds changed (never been to a wedding that was as fun as ones with a dedicated DJ.) Without Anthony our wedding would have been a hodge podge snoozer. We didn't have a dedicated wedding coordinator for our event, but he nailed the job as MC and kept things moving right along. He took into consideration our list of songs and put them into his own mix of music throughout the night - and the songs he played that weren't on our list were great too! Anthony was always easy to communicate with, via email I could always expect a reply within 24 hours. The price was right, and the quality and professionalism he brings... we just couldn't have hoped for a better DJ at our wedding. Thank you Anthony! -

Would recommend Anthony!
Anthony was the DJ at my sisters wedding 7 years ago. When it came to be our turn, it was a no brainer-this guy knows how to MC a wedding and keep a dance floor going! He was also super flexible when COVID turned out original plan upside down. Even with a much smaller crowd-Anthony made everything run super smooth. He is easy to talk to and very reasonable. Would recommend to anything needing a DJ for any kind of event! -

Anthony was soooo easy to work with from finish to end. He's so calm and really knows what he's doing. I basically let him just do his thing and he did. Not only did he keep everyone dancing and having a good time but he was super helpful with planning the timeline and letting the guests know what was happening next. Anthony was the DJ at our wedding in May, at Langdon Farms in Aurora, OR. Anthony, of A Sound Choice Entertainment delivered an epic dance party (it was more than 3 hours and involved crowd surfing at one point) at our wedding and catered to our fairly demanding requests with ease. He was easy to work with and professional throughout our interactions and we would recommend him highly to anyone hoping for a DJ that knows what he’s doing and get a good dance party going.
The music at our wedding was one of the areas we really focused on because, in our humble opinion, the dance party at a wedding makes or breaks the evening. We wanted our guests to be dancing and we allocated a large amount of time to the dancing part of the evening so that could happen. We looked through a lot of different DJs and were very happy to come across Anthony, who’s website provides a nice template for helping him to understand what sort of music you’re looking for throughout the event (in addition to being a good checklist for things you have to think about).
Our venue had a lot of different areas, including an outdoor wedding venue, outdoor dance floor, and barn for the dinner. Of course, we wanted to use all of them and this made for a challenging request to Anthony. It meant that he’d have to move his setup a few times and bring extra equipment in addition to some extra setup time. Anthony deftly managed this situation and charged us very reasonably for the additional requests. The whole evening went off without a hitch.
In addition to us asking for a lot of different locations for music, we were also very picky about what music we wanted. Anthony confirmed with us that we really wanted to be that picky and then asked us how we would like him to respond if he got a request outside of our musical preferences. We asked that he politely say that the bride and groom have asked him to stick to a particular genre, and we saw him turn people down when they requested things that were outside of what we wanted, which we were grateful for. He was also very attentive to the audience and did a great job of picking the right songs at the right time to keep the party going, which is what you want in a DJ.
Overall, Anthony did a fantastic job at our wedding, and we would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who is professional and delivers the dance party!
