Describe your DJ style:
I am a very laid back DJ who kinda goes with the flow. If you want to change things up in the middle of your event i have no problems with that. I love crowd interaction. I will get your guests on the dance floor and enjoy your event.
What is your usual attire?
It all depends on the event. If it is a formal event such as a wedding then we will be in tuxedos. If it is a themed event we can try to dress to theme. For example, a 50's theme we could dress as greasers. It is Really up to the client, whatever they want.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
I do not require that you provide pre-requested songs, because I am able to get those easily for you. However, if I find a problem with getting a certain tune I will contact you and verify.
How many other DJs do you work with?
I am currently the only DJ here at SSE, but we are looking into expanding the business in the near future.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
The minimum amount of time we work for is 2 hours. The more hours you go the better the per hour rate gets!
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Of Course, we strongly recommend meeting with ALL our clients. We like to offer this because we would like to learn more about the hosts of the event we are DJing for. We also will go over a step by step walk-through of the entire event.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, I bring all of my own equipment including custom lighting package.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Pending on the package you purchase i will need different amounts of time for each. Plan for 1.5 hours set up time for Karaoke/Lights/DJ;
1 hour set-up time for Lights/DJ; 45 minutes set-up time for jsut DJ services.
I do however require a table at least 6 feet long and covered be provided, preferably set-up near the dance floor. It will be extra charge for me to bring a table and table cover.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I don't talk between all songs, but if there is something important coming up soon i will warn people ahead of time!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do not require, but it is totally up to the host.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Yes, See above
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I do have a replacement system and cables.
What is your overtime rate?
$75.00 per hour
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We charge a flat rate of $20 if you are located outside of Pinellas County and Hillsborough County.
