One of the smartest decisions we made when planning our wedding was hiring Shauna at Photography Du Jour. From our first phone call, to our big day, Shauna was just absolutely incredible paying close attention to our needs and interests but also really getting to know us as a couple. She is a genius when it comes to photography having such an eye for making her couples looks stunning on their wedding day. She made me as a bride feel so beautiful while taking the pictures and of course in the pictures themselves. She cared about our friends and family remaining so kind and remembering to include everyone creating beautiful life long memories. During our rehearsal dinner and wedding this past November, Shauna also took the time to take exceptional candid photos as well as photos of the scenery, decor, and so much more to really capture how our weekend felt through all the senses. We got married at the Manor at Airmont in September 2023 and our venue recommended Shauna P. We hired Shauna to shoot our wedding, and also for our engagement session!, and have only the BEST things to say. She was always great to communicate with, listened to our preferences, and got to know us as people. She shot some beautiful engagement photos for us at the US Botanic Garden- even moving a huge stop sign on the ground in order to get the shot (and yes, she put it back up after!). She kept us at ease and made everything so comfortable and natural. Our wedding day with her was FLAWLESS. Shauna operates as a professional who takes every detail seriously – yet she is never anything but friendly, kind, and a joy to be around. Shauna and the Photography Du Jour team were incredible to work with. From our engagement photos to our wedding day, Shauna made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy feat!)

What impressed us most was Shauna's ability to arrive at our wedding venue (a family home) for only the second time, and perfectly capture our day. Shauna and her team took care to make sure meaningful spaces were photographed, while finding opportunities to use the space in ways we hadn't thought about. Her artistic eye is spectacular and the photos reflect the elegant but welcoming feeling we wanted for our wedding day.
