Founded in 2008 with the mission to create interesting, smart & well-designed invitations, Paper Cut Industries has become a top-notch stationery & design studio. Founder & Creative Director Monica Majors, a graphic designer by trade, has won several awards for her designs & has been recognized in magazines nationwide. Her work has been featured in magazines such as Real Simple, O Magazine & several International Design Annuals.

The Paper Cut Industries sensibility is proudly distinct, in contrast to the overwhelmingly unvaried & unadventurous style that characterize cookie-cutter design. We contend that many people are savvy enough to appreciate style, craftsmanship, & conceptual thinking, so we strive to meet those ideals. The distinctive Paper Cut Industries voice lends itself to objects of style & quality materials. Though the function of stationery is to communicate, we believe each element should contain equal integrity in quality & design.

Monica Majors is a native Californian and graduated from California State University, Long Beach where she studied Art and Graphic Design. She has always been involved in art and finds a fulfilling balance with business and design. Monica's design work has been recognized in several magazines such as Communication Arts :: 2008 Design Annual, PRINT Magazine :: 2008 Regional Design Annual, HOW Magazine :: 2008 Design Annual, and HOW Magazine :: 2009 International Design Annual.
