Shannon and Steve at Notaviva are incredible; they have a lovely tasting room, gorgeous property, an inspiring story, and delightful family. Our ceremony and reception were beautiful, intimate, unique, personal, and comfortable. Shannon provided us with contacts for other vendors (including officiant, baker, favors, and caterer). Notaviva is a laidback and special place... we know we will continue to visit for years to come!

Shannon and Steve at Notaviva Vineyards were phenomenal throughout the process. They worked closely with Chef A.J. at Grandale Farm to ensure that the schedule was kept and that everything would be sorted. Being that they come from a corporate event planning background, they were extremely professional about making sure that everything was as coordinated as possible, but they weren't pushy--they let us call the shots. Extremely flexible and helpful, Steve even played DJ for our iPod playlist. And, of course, the venue is AMAZING. Check out the website and see the photos for yourself. If you're interested in a vineyard wedding in Western Loudoun, you owe it to yourselves to at least talk to Notaviva.

Notaviva was a wonderful and unique place to hold our wedding. AS a smaller winery in Purcellville area, they haven't succumbed to the grandeur of the wedding business and charge a very reasonable price to rent their space. We loved the two floor layout of the winery, and the ability to give our visitors and guests a cozy and warm environment for our reception. We had about 70-75 guests, plus about 10 servers/vendors in the space, and it was perfect. We could have crowded out the space to accommodate more guests, but it would have been less comfortable. They also didn't charge a minimum for wine purchasing, provided us with two servers at the bar for the beverages (even our self purchased beer, and soft drinks!), and were super friendly! They have beautiful places and scenery for pictures as well, as we took our engagement shots at the winery in the early fall, and then had outdoor pictures for our November wedding.
